God Mouse must be very scary. A friend of ours dd jhad a cleft palete and recently had an op to correct. Has to have another though when she's about 10 I think, something to do with breaking the jaw after the adult teeth have come in?

I'm still bricking it re Mole's thumb op, should be sometime in Feb, I think.

DD1's teacher noticed it on Friday and said 'Oh she's got a ...' stopped then said 'Oh I just saw dd1 in her, never seen that before' as she's never seen mole before I think it was a quick cover up re the thumb, which weirdly after nmy woble earlier this year, doesnt bother me at all now Grin

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/09/2010 19:58

Brian, why does mole need an op on her thumb?

Double what the fuck you on about poppet? Grin Was it touche? As in 'you got me there saf' ?

Bitter - thats a bummer, if you had child care costs it would pay for you to quit probably but without that you prob can't, you could switch to daytime shifts, claim childcare tax credits and then be at home in evenings (but dd would be in nursery).

Or you could tell me to fuck off and sort my own life out (will be back to 70 hour weeks come Jan Grin)

She's got 3 thumbs Bitter, needs to have op to remove one. And we're having testing for Fanconi's anaemia, a non too pleasant disorder but very rare.

QUESTION FOR YOU - Was the one with the rather fake make up last night on x factor the one who's a prostitute??

I've not watched last nights x factor yet, so will get back to you.

No, feel free to sort my life out - someone has to.

At the risk of sounding Dim again, why does it need to be removed? Does it cause her trouble?

Yes I like guns..... ermmmm im walking backwards aout the thread now.... Grin

bitter its one thumb at the base but double width then when it gets up to the top joint-ish it splits into two totally formed thumbs, not like a skin tag, a whole new thumb. Will effect her picking things up, writing etc if she doesn't have it removed. They need to remove both (sort of) and make one new one from the two old ones. Teacher obviously saw it, gasped and then regained composure and tried to pretend she hadn't!! Grin

saf - i thought that, felt desperately sorry for her, wanted to scrub her face and give her some confidence that wasn't based around looking like a lap dancer.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/09/2010 20:35

It's a chore sometimes double, but someone has to do it.

Think of it as I'm taking one for the team.Wink

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/09/2010 20:37

Ah, right brian, I was thinking of a whole extra digit, which is why I was confused.

BrianAndHisBalls · 19/09/2010 20:38

bitter please explain what doubles on about, pretty please????

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/09/2010 20:41

I don't know, my comment was directed at her wishing she was funnier.

I was merely pointing out it is exhausting to be as funny as me.

BrianAndHisBalls · 19/09/2010 20:47

that is true bitter, it must be tiring for you Grin
