7.45 - 9.00 it's the last of the auditions so may be worth a watch?

OP posts:
Mouseface · 19/09/2010 18:40

More licking the tip of a spoon with it on.... he does it with ice-cream so I thought I'd try another food group!

He did one tiny lick and puked. Bless him.

So, not really progress. Smile I just have to let him get on with it. BLW rather than puree's and mushed up banana. His Sensory Feeding Disorder is v bad some days and not others!!

I get a bit Confused with it all!

I've still got last nights x factor to watch, so had better tape tonights.

I am officially pogged to the eyeballs.Wink Chilli con carne, crusty bread, sticky toffee pudding (known as tickle poppy pudding in this house) and chocolate custard.

BrianAndHisBalls · 19/09/2010 19:16

miitz - you haven't done anything wrong at all. Its up to you who you see/fancy/flirt with/talk to etc sod all to do with ex. And in this case the man was doing it to you not the other way round anyway!! Why are you frightened you'll pay? That doesn't sound good Sad

SAF - Wish they were both in full time ed Grin dd is of course but second dd is not, is usually to be found hanging off my nipple. And no, I'm not breastfeeding, shes just permanently attached to me Grin

Mouse - sorry if you've explained this a million times but why is Nemo fed through a tube?

Anyway, I top trump all of you because dd is LEARNING THE RECORDER. Beat that for horror. Grin

Mousey - didn't realise Nemo had sensory issues with food - have you ever considered trying for a referral to GOSH feeding clinic. There's info about it on a kids with reflux forum:-

www.littlerefluxers.co.uk/forum/topics/feeding-clinic-great-ormand?page=1&commentId=1153284%3AComment%3A40417&x=1#1153284Comment40417

(I read a bit about the clinic in a book called "Can't Eat, Won't Eat" geared towards parents of fussy eating ASD kids, but some of the advice/experiences are of wider relevance.

In terms of meds:- I know of some parents to kids with ASD and other disabilities who have got the paed to prescribe melatonin to help with sleep;

TotalChaos · 19/09/2010 19:27

saf - sometimes kids with feeding problems have an oversensitive gag reflex, so I guess that might be why Nemo had one lick then splurged??

TotalChaos · 19/09/2010 19:28

Mittz - I am very sorry to hear you are still living in fear of your ex. Have you had any support from WA with dealing with him?

BrianAndHisBalls · 19/09/2010 19:29

damn Sad i wanted to be misery queen!!!! Can I be Ms Top Trumps on watching crap tv? Surely I can win that? Grin

No, I am very lucky dp does everything and grandparents do babysitting at least once a week (daytime not usually night, thats only about every fortnight Grin).

sorry you did say double, sentence before was to me and i just missed the 'double' (easy to do, she's so shy and retiring Grin)

dp and i aren't married, im living in sin. Am engaged but dont really want to go through a marriage after last time.

def watching x factor tonight.

bitter - if you gave up your job would tax credits cover it iyswim?

BrianAndHisBalls · 19/09/2010 19:30

I'd giev him mouldy tramp socks if it would make/help him sleep!!!

Thanks TC. xx

Brian - he has Sensory Feeding Disorder, so won't put FOOD in his mouth, everything but. And a cleft palate, along with Pierre Robin sequence with in basic terms is a small narrow airway/throat, a small short jaw and means he is a grade 4 airway for operations.

Again, in basic terms, it means that the God squad have to be present for all procedures. He always ends up in PICU with an airway in to support his breathing.

Poor little chap. As he grows his jaw will grow and he will be at less risk. But until then, I have to be savvy re choking on his feeding tube etc.

Had to be trained in infant CPR Sad

Other than that, he's a bloody star!! Grin

Bitter - I love that, 'tickle poppy pudding' Grin
