This is for ds. He's had nothing else on a jacket potato for 7 years! He doesn't like veg, spicy food, mayo, canned tuna. What a PITA!

it was a pregnancy craving: cream cheese and marmite

ChasingSquirrels · 14/02/2009 20:18

I had them with just butter for about 25 years.
Is he complaining or do you think he should have something else?

scrooged · 14/02/2009 20:19

Cheese and pickle is really nice. He won't eat pickle though.

Chopped up egg with salad cream.

janeite · 14/02/2009 20:19

I like baked sweet potatoes with soured cream, coriander and chopped red chilli.

One that is vegetables but is nice is sauteed leeks, stirred into a thick cheese sauce, mixed with the scooped out potato then piled back into the skins and baked for a bit longer.

Chilli is nice on a baked potato but the one I make is veggie so contains vegetables!

mynaughtylittlesister · 14/02/2009 20:20

Chilli?

Winehouse · 14/02/2009 20:20

Chick Peas with garlic? - I know that's houmus really but it looks different.

RustyBear · 14/02/2009 20:21

Minced beef with herbs for flavour (like bolognese without the tomato)
Chicken in white sauce

scrooged · 14/02/2009 20:22

No spice. I want him to try something else. I'm sick of doing the same thing every time he has a sandwich or a jacket potato.

I could try chick peas. He will only eat egg in an omelette form.

salt and vinegar - 'the northern way' introduced to me by a yorkshire lass

scrooged · 14/02/2009 20:24

Minced beef. Hmm. I'll try that. I did try him with the world's mildest chilli, he didn't eat alot but he did try it.
