COMPLETELY different to lucysmam, How do I ACTUALLY do a roast dinner??

I have a chicken
potatoes
carrots
broccolli
gravy powder
yorkshires
stuffing

I have no bay leaf, onions, lemons, faffy pther shite
I just put lots of salt on

BUT I have a raw food phobia, a panic about chicken being cooked and seemingly no sense of timing

We want it for teatime
WHen do I out it in??
when do I do the pots??
the veg, how do you get it all ready?

I ahve done it three time before and everytime someone else is helping me and I still panic and rush at the end and hope to god everything is ready at once

hold my hand pleeeeeease

Glad you managed it.

I am a bit of a freaker when it comes to raw meat too. But I love doing roasts, I do get into to a bit of a fankle preparing it though and wash my hands every two minutes with anti bac stuff.

Have you tried handling chicken with thin latex gloves you can get used to the feel of it but peel off gloves surgeon styley and chuck in bin. I think I might do this next time as I love doing roast chicken with lemon chunks inside its butt, but end up with red raw hands. Never even thought of using the thin gloves until I read your post.

Funnily I can use the juices for gravy no problem as it is cooked, same as I am boiling a carcase right now making stock. As long as it is cooked I am fine with it.
