What bread does everyone eat?

It feels like my husband has purchased almost every wholemeal bread there is in the market and cannot find one he truly enjoys. For bread lovers, where buying just any bread is just not an option, what wholemeal bread do people recommend? I live near Kingston.

Sourdough or a home made yeasted wholemeal with added rye. I try to limit myself to one slice, so I like it quite heavy and substantial in feel.
