What other cottage cheese is most like Longley Farm?

Longley Farm is the best!

But it’s quite hard to find in the South, and is expensive. (Much cheaper when I buy it in Yorkshire!)

Which alternative is as good or nearly as good? Lidl and Tesco are definitely not!

I love Longley farm cottage cheese! I live South and our local shop has it.. I’m sure it’s around £1.50 for a decent size tub? Sorry to say haven’t found one I like as much.

I got some gorgeous cottage cheese. On holiday. In Spain.
M&S ones are okay, but I haven’t tried the Longley Farm…

There’s a polish one they sell at Tesco that’s nice- it’s runny but the ‘bits’ are creamy like the good stuff, Longley Farm!

When Iceland have it it is £1-75 for a narrow tub. So more than the many inferior cottage cheeses.

Another vote for the polish one in Tesco. It's quite loose but creamy and tasty.

None but Aldi own brand full fat is passable. The other brand at Aldi is VILE.

Yester. Sainsburys sell it.

I'm in the south too, and the places I get it are Morrisons, Asda and some branches of M&S. It's c. £1.75 in Morrisons and Asda, £1.90 in M&S. I've never found another one as good, and I've tried lots. Sainsbury's used to be the best of the big supermarkets but about 5 years ago it suddenly got much runnier and sourer-tasting.

I haven't found anything the same consistency but I really love a brand called Piatnica, the curds are more defined and taste is lovely and creamy but a looser consistency than Longley Farm.

I never found anything as good so moved back to Yorkshire. Now I bathe in it daily. Bliss.

In Aldi there is cottage cheese made by Piatnica too
It taste exactly the same

Where are you in the south? I’m in south east London and my local Iceland and M&S sell it, and the one with pineapple in it! I adore their cream cheese and their yoghurts but I’ve never found it in the south so have to do without until I go home.

I get in from ocado, nothing else compares

Have you looked in independent shops? I've seen it in a health food shop

None, all but LF are disgusting. They sell it in Morrisons, can you order it on Amazon? I can thru Morrisons but I'm in Yorkshire.

I buy it in home bargains

only one I will eat and the full fat version only too! Our local market stall in Stockport sells if for £1.50. But I willingly pay the price at Sainsburys if I can’t get there.
Home bargains stocked it for years but now only sell Grahams brand which is no where near as good :(

None, it's the best by far.

Anyone, ANYONE in Wales know where I can buy this? There is nothing like it, I don't think other cottage cheeses should even be allowed the name, they just taste like disappointment in comparison. I have to keep myself going by gorging on it every time I'm back in Yorkshire.

Longley Farm is the best by far. I can't eat others. Too sloppy and runny.

Yester Farm from Sainsbury is good.

Longiey Farm is in a league of its own. Anything else is an edible punishment.

Lidl own brand is delicious, I can’t remember the name of the brand now
