That sounds amazing - I had burrata with peaches and pine nuts, with a drizzle of vanilla syrup the other week and I thought I had won the day.

I used to make Wensleydale and marmalade sandwiches when I was a teen. I loved them. Haven't had one in forty years.

The cheese and fruit thing makes sense to me. But at the supermarket the other day I saw a cheddar with shards of toffee in it. uh no thankyouverymuch.

Australian here- out of curiosity is marmite very similar to vegemite? For those who've tried both.

Goats cheese with curry or lime pickle works too. It shouldn’t but it does.

And my favourite pizza toppings together are anchovies, pineapple and mushrooms. It’s a wonderful mix.

I’ve tried both. I slightly prefer Vegemite but if it makes sense I feel Marmite is a “darker” taste and Vegemite feels lighter and saltier to me. Treat them both the same way on toast and they’re both amazing though.

Cheese on toast with horseradish sauce.

Honestly. Its best either thr nice chickpeas, like the bold ones, but also works with the cheap 50p ones. I made dome this week, added some toasted flaked almonds too. Brilliant in wraps with green salad.

You just reminded me that grated carrots and cheese are a great combination.

cant think of anything else to add, but i kniw i eat loads of combos that others might not.🤣 (all vegetarian though)

Better still on crumpets & with a good coffee!

I love a peanut butter and branston pickle sandwich and when I want to go wild, I'll add some sliced banana too.
