For me it would be prawns, beetroot or anything flavoured with honey.

Ooh nothing. The only thing I don't like is milk.

thelittlestbadger · 12/05/2008 16:44

Anything with a sauce made from oranges. Apricots also upset me!

wessexgirl · 12/05/2008 16:44

Bananas and liver. (Especially served together).

Blandmum · 12/05/2008 16:44

Sea urchin gonads. Ate them once and almost vomited at the table. Anything else I'd give a go

DefinitelyNotMARINAWheeler · 12/05/2008 16:44

Tripe

youknownothingofthecrunch · 12/05/2008 16:45

Mushrooms (think of it as a sick emoticon)

Twinkie1 · 12/05/2008 16:45

Sweetbreads - bleugh - glands just don't do it for me would have trouble swallowing!

Oysters, muscles, clams, any manky shellfish!

Oh and pork - bleugh - uncle is a fireman and he reckons smells like human flesh when it is cooking - never eaten it again!

Oh and aubergine - hate the texture - same for kidney beans!

HHHHHMMMMMM am thnking I am rather fussy!

green peppers

StealthPolarBear · 12/05/2008 16:47

well I'm vegetarian, so apart from meat or fish, the only thing i can think of is aubergine. Which is a pity, since that seems to be a staple of many veggi meals

Pixiefish · 12/05/2008 16:47

Offal- serious nono.
Wouldn't eat anything like snake or Kangaroo bits - euck.

MerlinsBeard · 12/05/2008 16:48

i am very fussy so the list would be huge AND i hate eating in front of people so the chances of me being at a dinner party are small

(awkward me?)

to answer the OP....i wouldn't eat any seafood, liver, beetroot, anything covered in loads of cheese, anything that smelled like feet (), erm....anything that isn't supposed to be eaten ie eyeballs, kangaroo bollocks.....there will be more, i just can't remember!

StealthPolarBear · 12/05/2008 16:48

Tonight's special:

Fried kangaroo bits, with sauteed potatoes and creamed beans

peppers and faggots

Lazycow · 12/05/2008 16:50

Well nothing I can think of

Still thinking - nope nothing apart from foods that aren't usually eaten in this country (eg worms, sheeps eyes etc) though I love snails. Tbh I'd probably even try the sheeps eyes and worms out of politeness if cooked though I'd struggle if not cooked.

MerlinsBeard · 12/05/2008 16:52

...tomatoes...that's another

snorris · 12/05/2008 16:53

Fish served up with their heads on and seafood.

CrackerOfNuts · 12/05/2008 16:53

Peas

jingleyjen · 12/05/2008 16:54

semolina / tapioca...

thankfully not commonly served at dinner parties
although Dh is chinese and the tapioca seems to be a staple desert at his parents house.

Pixiefish · 12/05/2008 16:57

a former colleague went to a dinner party and was served the woman's afterbirth. needless to say he turned green at the gills and refused it

jingleyjen · 12/05/2008 17:00

pixie is that true!!!!

Blu · 12/05/2008 17:00

oysters
anythng raw including sushi / shashimi
I once mortified myself by asking my host to pop some slices of fabulously expensive beef served as carpaccio in the frying pan for a second or two - rare is fine, raw....bleugh.

colditz · 12/05/2008 17:00

Tripe. And that's it. Everything else would be guzzled down with every sign of enjoyment.
