Using only things you remember making at school , create a three course meal?

(I opted to do metalwork rather than cookery!)

All I remember from our abysmal school cookery was our teachers obsession with apples.

Starter fruit salad (with a large proportion of apples)
Main. toast (probably had apple on it )
pudding. An eclectic choice of apple crumble, apple pie, stewed apple.

Fortunately my parents had a few apple trees so we were never short of ingredients.

im sure we did other stuff too. I vaguely remember to made a cup of tea once 🙄

What we made to show off our “hostess skills” and the embroidered tray cloth we’d made in Sewing the term before. Cooked breakfast. Grilled grapefruit (van dyke cut). Grilled bacon, scrambled eggs and grilled tomatoes (van dyked again) toast, tea(in a pot with leaves). Probably followed by rock cakes and unset but delicious, chocolate fudge.

I can only remember making scones, choux buns, and lemon curd. So... apologies to anyone attending my dinner party! I'll get some good booze in 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sounds like the best dinner party so far in my book 😂

It was c1978 so not surprised dessert is hazy
Not a meal I would choose now :-)

Jalousie, yes, we made that - a rectangular piece of puff pastry with a filling and slits in the top. Apparently supposed to look like a window shutter.

Sad raw onions in a roll.

The only lesson I remember was homemade burgers that we were getting to eat in class. We mixed the meat and breadcrumbs and shaped it then we had to put it on the grill. I had a dodgy grill handle so the teacher helped me attach it. She then pulled my grill out to demonstrate something to the class and the handle came off and my burger fell onto the floor. She then told the whole class that that was a lesson to make sure your handle was attached properly and I was left without a burger to eat. I've never forgotten the humiliation and unfairness from that.

I remember ( 1964 or thereabouts ) something called Orange Princess Pudding.
Think it involved breadcrumbs ?
And topped with slices of orange , still containing the pips ….
Texture rather like vomit !

Appreciate white sauce isn't exactly a starter but that and the sausage rolls are the only things I made at school and still make in the same way 😄

Strawberry milkshake made with jam and milk to start. Cauliflower cheese, with an entirely raw, whole cauliflower to follow. And if you still have room, can I offer you a scone, made with margarine?

Toast - literally the only non main/dessert thing i can remember making.

Chicken and bacon lasagne.

Kiwi cheesecake.
