As per the title - what’s the last cookbook that you bought?

I’m tempted to get the new Anna Jones, the last book I bought was the Tom Kerridge Pub Kitchen - although yet to cook from it…!

Jamie's latest, 5 Mediterranean. I already use his first '5' book more than any other.

Brutto

SummaLuvin · 14/03/2024 21:11

Bitter by Alexina Anatole (not sure if this counts as it as a 99p daily deal, but I’m loving it so far)

I also have my eyes on three upcoming books! Sift by Nicola Lamb which I have already requested as a birthday present, I’ll Bring Dessert by Benjamina Ebuehi, and Dinner by Meera Sodha.

I got East by Meera Sodha for Mothers Day.

The Plain Cake Appreciation Society. Absolutely brilliant, I’m so pleased with it.

I’ve also got the new Anna Jones but haven’t looked at it yet.

IamRoyFuckingKent · 15/03/2024 10:37

I liked Tom Kerridge's recent pub classics but haven't cooked anything from it yet.

Pompoms88 · 15/03/2024 20:07

Would you recommend Brutto @LenaLamont?

Yes!
There are a few “tomato salad / buy this super specific tomato, slice, salt and eat” to make the point about about best ingredients being important, but there are some DELICIOUS recipes.

Ah I’m so sad about Dave Myers too. The latest TV series is Sad

I bought Hairy Bikers veggie feasts last week. First cookbook I’ve bought in ages but felt the need to buy something of theirs.

SevenSeasOfRhye · 15/03/2024 21:36

It was a French Chateau one from a charity shop. But aside from my trusty Delia, they all just sit on the shelf waiting to be used by some mythical version of myself that has the time and inclination to shop for ingredients and cook something decent 😃

bigbadbarry · 15/03/2024 21:50

I’m thinking about the Anna Jones one too. But I just bought Spice by Mark Diacomo so I should use that a bit first

childfreebychoice · 17/03/2024 19:42

I didn't buy it, but I got Eat, Share, Love for Christmas and it's fantastic.

OctoblocksAssemble · 17/03/2024 19:54

Another HB purchase here, in memory of Dave Myers. I got chicken and egg, which I've so far made 4 things from.

Countmeout · 17/03/2024 19:59

The Irish Bakery. Fabulous recipes for traditional Irish breads and much more. We’ve made cheese and bacon bread today and it’s delicious. So straightforward too.
