What do roast potatoes go with apart from a roast dinner?

DP has some potatoes and goose fat so there are roast potatoes on the menu this week! Neither of us fancy 'a roast' though

What do you eat with your roast potatoes that isn't roast chicken / lamb / beef etc?

You can do it with anything - fish, steak, a pie ….

Sausages

Full English?
Chicken Kiev?
Stew?

i like to serve roasties with more roasties personally.

Salmon and Israeli salad.
Ham and cauliflower cheese.
Or do a spicy tomato dressing and turn them into a sort of patatas bravas!

Hot beef sandwich, or any similar filling.

I want roast potatoes now 😂

We're having a casserole tonight with roast potatoes and veg

Anything you’d have chips with really, especially with a bit of sauce involved, gravy, casserole etc

I maybe wouldn't serve them with pasta. But only maybe.

I bought some duck fat roast potatoes from M&S reduced section the other day. Just at then on their own. OMG how have I missed out on these! Food of the gods.

I love them with cauliflower cheese and roast ham 😋

What about beef in beer stew/casserole, with yorkshires as well so not sure if it would be too much like a roast for you.

A cheese omelette. I know that because I am vegetarian and when my family are eating a roast dinner I get a cheese omelette (no goose fat obviously).

As a side to a rotisserie chicken in a baguette.

Cut the potatoes up quite small then roast them as usual. When they’re nearly done, fry up some onions and cabbage, tip the roasties in as well and squash them up a bit so they go all crispy. Serve with a poached egg and some bacon.
