chop and add to curry

SpringLobelia · 07/03/2023 13:59

I eat them cold, with salt and leftover cold gravy sliced on top like butter. (I am Queen of Gravy IMHO).

I have just realised how disgusting all that sounds. But it is bliss.

DH eats them cold with slices of cheddar cheese.

Duckingella · 07/03/2023 14:02

Such a thing never exists in my house but then again I have bottomless 4 teens

Crumpetdisappointment · 07/03/2023 17:58

i normally do chop and add to curry
but i might just serve them on the side of the curry or something Grin

If you have other roast dinner leftovers, a big roll with meat, sliced roast potatoes, gravy etc heated up makes a brilliant sandwich. Cauliflower cheese elevates it to god status. I have also been known to make a leftover roast dinner into a toastie.

HiccupHorrendousHaddock · 07/03/2023 18:05

Just scoff them cold as a snack. Lush.

Leftoverssandwich · 07/03/2023 18:07

I've only just realised that you could have worked all that out just from my username.

Crumpetdisappointment · 07/03/2023 18:14

Grin @Leftoverssandwich

Should’ve quoted @journeyofsanity with this

Oblomov23 · 07/03/2023 19:38

Cold with Mayo. Yum.

Wildernesstips · 07/03/2023 21:51

I fried mine up with some chopped bacon and wilted spinach and added a fried egg for my dinner. Yum.

Ritasueandbobtoo9 · 07/03/2023 21:54

Have them with a fry up for breakfast

Dartmoorcheffy · 07/03/2023 21:57

I just ate the few we had left from Sunday. (,they had been in the fridge). Reheated in the oven , plenty of salt and a pot of gravy to dip in.

Confundo · 07/03/2023 22:00

Chop them, then coat them in harissa paste, then back in oven for 20 minutes. We now deliberately leave behind roast potatoes to do this the next day

Lizzy1328 · 07/03/2023 22:09

Chop in to a frittata/Spanish omelette with some cheese and onions 🧅 🥚 🧀. X

bellac11 · 07/03/2023 22:11

Eat them cold late at night in a dark kitchen (only the light from the fridge) dipped in salt on the plate

MrsTerryPratchett · 07/03/2023 22:16

fruitpastille · 07/03/2023 06:45

Eat them cold late at night. Ideally with some mayo.

This.

mumda · 07/03/2023 22:35

Microwave and mayonnaise and sit in the kitchen until they're all eaten.

DogInATent · 07/03/2023 22:37

Put them in the soup bag in the freezer.

SeththeSloth · 07/03/2023 22:38

Eat cold with salad cream!

WinterMusings · 07/03/2023 22:40

Mondays were my favourite school lunch. Left over beef potato & salad SANDWICHES YUM

DelilahBucket · 07/03/2023 22:41

Patatas Bravas with chorizo, parsley, aioli and a side salad.

BitOutOfPractice · 07/03/2023 22:43

YY to sliced in a sandwich with the leftover meat, stuffing and, if you have it, a drizzle of gravy. It’s the food of the gods.

Poepourri · 08/03/2023 08:46

As pp have said, chop them in half and put them back in the oven for about 15 mins with whatever seasoning to crisp over. Cajun is good .
