I really fancy a jacket potato. Tell me your favourite fillings so I can fully indulge!

I bake mine, scoop all the filling out, mix with cheese, salt, butter, chives, cream cheese or sour cream. Back in the skins and goes in oven with extra cheese on top.

Make a mix of grated cheese, onion and mayo. Pile it on and grill for a minute.

Turquoisa80 · 07/12/2022 18:43

Cheese beans and coleslaw

TheDogsMother · 07/12/2022 18:44

I invented a filling recently. Scoop out, mix with butter, grated cheese and pesto. Put back in and grill. Delicious !

Butter until melted Prawns and Marie Rose sauce on top with a sprinkle of pepper

purpleme12 · 07/12/2022 18:45

Honestly just butter and cheese.
Really simple but probably my favourite.
But it has to be mixed in ie when the jacket potato is ready mix it with butter and cheese then put it been in the microwave to melt then eat!

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 07/12/2022 18:47

So hard to choose one! But I do love tuna mayo, black pepper & loads of cheese.

Ramble0n · 07/12/2022 18:47

Just loads of butter, cheese and coleslaw. I never melt the cheese though.

MissRainbowBrite · 07/12/2022 18:49

The key is to start with a good spud, Tesco Finest are amazing. So buttery without having to add hardly any extra butter.
Can't beat a good sprinkle of salt and pepper with beans and cheese.

Another shout for Tuna cheese. I have sweetcorn also.

HuntingoftheSnark · 07/12/2022 18:53

Butter and Marmite, ever since I read it on an earlier thread like this.

Chuck some cooked chorizo or pancetta into that and it's perfect!

Aye- right about that- a did lob some bacon on the other day.

IncompleteSenten · 07/12/2022 19:03

I love to put three slits along the potato and brush oil on the top then bake.

Fillings -

cheese with worcestershire sauce, prawn cocktail or brie and cranberry sauce.

SlowMotionLovePotion · 07/12/2022 19:06

Tuna, mayo, sweetcorn and spring onion with grated cheese. I cook my potato in the air fryer, cut in in half when it's done, put a couple of slices in each half, then back in the air fryer for a couple of minutes. Crispy and fluffy!

AtleastitsnotMonday · 07/12/2022 19:19

Rock salt and black pepper first, then my version of coronation chicken. Chopped chicken breast, finely diced red onion, celery, chopped grapes mixed with a mixture of fat free yoghurt, light mayo, curry powder and mango chutney. (I never said it was authentic! There are certainly no apricots or sultanas).

Alternatively tuna with sweetcorn, spring onion, red peppers, chopped pickled gherkins, a little bit of salad cream, malt vinegar and white pepper.

Or M&S do a beetroot, apple and yoghurt slaw that's great.

RinklyRomaine · 07/12/2022 19:47

Mushrooms and Stilton

Tuna cheese melt with celery

Bacon cheddar and spring onion

Cottage cheese, ham, spring onions and smoked paprika is nice too

Basically cheese, clearly!

doodleygirl · 07/12/2022 19:48
