What dinners do you serve with bread?

Other than soup, what meals go with a slab of fresh bread? Keen to use up a nice loaf before it goes stale.

All meals can be improved with bread! Rolls, naan, garlic bread, or just good old sliced with butter. So that covers soup, curry, pasta, stew, fish & chips...

Any meal that includes something that can be sopped up. I love bread, so I'm struggling to think of any dish that would be ruined by the addition of bread. I've had Super Noodle sandwiches.

Stew with bread and butter or some garlic butter on bread and serve with lasagne,spaghetti bolognese,meatballs. Fried bread with a fry up.

Fried egg & chips
Both need bread & butter for chip sandwich, and in the case of fried egg for dipping into the runny yolk.

Kippers need bread & butter to help those little bones down safely, and the same for sprats and fresh sardines.

Chicken Kiev can benefit from bread too, and any dish with an excess of gravy.

More for lunch than dinner, but soft boiled eggs, tinned sardine sandwiches, bacon or hot sausage sandwiches all are better with nice bread!
