New year new meal planning thread

Getting my arse back in gear
Tomorrow: Christmas dinner (Christmas for me was cancelled for covid)
Saturday: picky bits/leftovers
Sunday: jacket spuds with leftover chilli
Monday: borlotti bean shepherds pie
Tuesday: mushroom and leek risotto
Wednesday: satay noodle stirfry
Thursday: DP sorts

Tonight we’re having cheesy mushroom lasagne, garlic bread, salad.

Sat: Spicy peanut tofu (if I can be bothered, otherwise everyone can rummage in the freezer!)
Sun: Sea bass with lemon caper sauce, baby potatoes, steamed veg
Mon: Homity pie, veg
Tues: Smoky bean & halloumi stew, garlic bread
Wed: Crispy paprika salmon
Thurs: Pasta & quorn no meatballs
Fri: Eating out

Tofu tikka masala is roughly Tofu marinated in curry paste and then in the air fryer

Pasta made of blended - onion, chilli, garlic, ginger, tomato paste, Garam masala, whatever other dry spice I like the look of and a table spoon of yoghurt
Then cooked with half a tin of chopped tomatoes and some coconut cream.
Always well received!

Breakfast: Asda Easter bunny crumpets and fruit salad
Picnic lunch: Savoury hot cross bun rolls, carrot sticks and dips, Mcvities hot cross bun slices and chocolate egg nests
Dinner: Asparagus pilaf
Sat - peri peri halloumi burgers with sweetcorn salsa
Sunday -
Hot cross bun French toast
Glazed carrot and hazelnut tarts and then mini egg cheesecake
Bank Hol Monday:
Baked ricotta followed by rhubarb meringue pie

Fish, chips, mushy peas
Saturday - out a a place that mainly served cheese!
Roast lamb, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes, green beans carrots. Chocolate pudding.
Steak with mushrooms and red wine sauce
Aubergine chilli
Root veg tray bake with halloumi

sunday: caramelised onion and balsamic tomato tarts
monday: chipotle bean chilli
tuesday: honey ginger sesame noodles with stir fried veg

I specifically did a waitrose online order to get their tuna deal..... and forgot to order the tuna! [doh]. Rest of the week looks like:

Roasted tomotoes with feta and avocado on penne

I guess it's more shopping at end of week and tuna over the weekend!?

Ooo I need to get back into this.

Also want to try using my slow cooker more I got out of the habit.

Anyway...today is lasagne.

Tomorrow is tacos, possiblity with pork or turkey mince as a change from beef?

Thursday.... slow cooker chicken curry, got a pouch of slow cooker sauce I want to try
