Think we're having Easy Lamb Biryani. DD is super fussy but has actually asked for this so there's a chance she'll eat it. It's a small chance but a chance is good Smile

Spaghetti and meatballs tonight, it’s one of the things my DD2 will eat without complaint.

MadMadMadamMim · 06/07/2021 11:30

That sounds good. I haven't got as far as thinking about tea yet. Probably something with chicken breasts as there are some in the fridge!

Babysouth · 06/07/2021 11:31

Chicken marinated in Nando's sauce cooked with red peppers and red onion, with sweet potato mash and veg

Babysouth · 06/07/2021 11:32

The biryani sounds nice do you have a link to the recipe?

vodkaredbullgirl · 06/07/2021 11:32

Ex Northerner still refers it to tea.

Bangers and mash.

Dementedswan · 06/07/2021 11:34

It was going to be cornedbeef crispbakes with salad and Jersey pots, however it's pissing down so might make belly pork, mash broccoli and green beans instead.

HeyMicky · 06/07/2021 11:35

Lamb and salad wraps with tzatziki, whipped feta and green beans on the side

BunnyRuddington · 06/07/2021 11:37

It won't let me link but it's a Gousto recipe. If you Google "Gousto Easy Lamb Biryani" it should come up Smile

No idea so here for ideas.
Got nothing in ( nothing interesting anyway), as I've not been shopping. Was away last week and away this weekend so no point.
I need it to be quick, healthy and preferably not chicken.
Maybe salmon and pasta.
The lamb biryani sounds good.

Babysouth · 06/07/2021 11:38

@BunnyRuddington looks delicious, thanks Smile

BunnyRuddington · 06/07/2021 11:39

@Babysouth it cooks in one pot as well so fits in my "trying to keep the bloody washing up to a minimum" plan Grin

Mac and cheese with leftover slow roasted gammon. I’ll mix cauliflower and broccoli into the Mac& cheese

DH doesn’t eat cheese so he’s having peri peri chicken

QforCucumber · 06/07/2021 11:49

BBC Good Food Meatball and garlic bread bake, its divine!

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 06/07/2021 11:50

some idiot unplugged the outside freezer and so in addition to planned chicken tortillas we have melting icecream, defrosted garlic pizza bread and red onion and cheese flatbreads to eat up.
we have friends coming to watch Spain v Italy so at least good timing!

(lucky all meat etc are still solid.)

tomorrow we are having takeaway, some want curry, some burgers.

Ducksurprise · 06/07/2021 11:51

Thanks for posting this (although it's tea and I'm very southern) as I need to defrost the chicken and I had forgotten.
So cheats chicken roast.

QuentinBunbury · 06/07/2021 11:53

Nachos with peppers, onions, refried beans, guacamole and salad

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 06/07/2021 11:54

Veggie sausages, and roasted vegetables whacked in the oven together as a traybake.

NotMyCat · 06/07/2021 11:55

Chicken pad Thai from a Wagamama kit

FizzyPink · 06/07/2021 11:56

Now you've got me wanting their Cornish Pasty Pie!

Luckily DD loves that as well so might stick it on the menu for Thursday. Haven't done the shopping yet did this week.

Got a cauliflower in the veg box so might do cauliflower cheese with veggie sausages and spring greens.

I usually do a meal plan but thought i'd live on the edge this week and not.

BanTheMLMScam · 06/07/2021 12:04

Ooh were having steak, mushrooms and onions on a baguette....I can't wait 😋

PunchedJudy · 06/07/2021 12:09

Im in the North and say dinner misses point of thread

I'm not sure but I'm dieting after a heavy weekend of too much food (& booze) so probably stir fry or similar. Boring.
