You know the Soreen stuff...

Cos I have just had 2 slices laden with butter and it was delish....lovely and soft and gooey...not stale int he slightest.

I want More....I am struggling to resist

I think you know the answer to this question...

TheQueenOfQuotes · 11/10/2007 13:41

go on! you know you want to (I tend to "limit" myself to 4 (thick) slices at once, and then the other half also cut into 4 thick slices later......

ScaryMonsterStories · 11/10/2007 13:43

I buy the ready sliced, so the slices aren't that thick...

I'm afraid that Soreen malt loaf has been tempting women in this manner for generations.

Once opened, it must be eaten straightway, and all by the same person.

PestoPumpkinMonster · 11/10/2007 13:45

You'll make yourself sick!!

TheQueenOfQuotes · 11/10/2007 13:46

well it makes little difference whether they're thick slices or thin slices (you really should buy the unsliced - it's much cheaper!), it's all the same size when you put it all toghther (I just have thick slices so I don't feel too greedy)

MrsWeasley · 11/10/2007 13:47

you could save some for me

Think I might have to nip into the shops on way home and get one now!!!!!!

policywonk · 11/10/2007 13:47

You might gum your mouth up completely and never again be able to prise your teeth apart.

Charlee · 11/10/2007 13:48

Not at all - in fact i think it may be the law to eat a whole one................... you wouldn't want to break the law would you?

FloridaKbear · 11/10/2007 13:48

perfectly normal behaviour

ScaryMonsterStories · 11/10/2007 13:48

...SMS trys not to drop crumbs on the keyboard...

...I can't slice the unsliced ...but the ready sliced is very gooey today...

...it has fruit in it right? tis one of my 5 a day then..

depends whether your name is Doreen or not....

mrsflowerpot · 11/10/2007 14:02

If you weren't meant to eat the whole thing then they would make them bigger to deter you.

Have you tried it with almond butter?

shrooms · 11/10/2007 14:23

Oh! Hmm. Don't know what happened then. Must have dozed off. Have woken with several malt loaf packets on the floor around me and crumbs around my lips.

Flamesparrow · 11/10/2007 14:24

I want malt loaf now!!!

JoFan · 11/10/2007 14:24

it gives you black lumps in your teeth

but i LOVE it

hatwoman · 11/10/2007 14:28

there is only one question here. can you hide the packet? dcs will not forgive you if you fail. if you succeed.....malt loaf? what malt loaf?

margoandjerry · 11/10/2007 14:30

I love it. I think of it as cake that's healthy...is that wrong? OK the butter, and sometimes the philadelphia is not helping...

A whole loaf is more than possible. Indeed it is probable.

mrsmerton · 11/10/2007 14:39

OMG I love Malt loaf, and have been known to inhale a whole one in one sitting. You know its got zero calories, don't you? Same as Jaffa Cakes. The end pieces of the Malt Loaf are the best.

ShesAWaterfall · 11/10/2007 14:45

i thought it was just me!

i struggle to only have a couple of slices. my dp never gets a look in though as a couple of slices soon turns into the whole thing.

i think the problem is, they are too small. if the loaf was bigger there'd be more opportunities for sharing.
