Huge amounts of tomatoes and potatoes. Also the largest leek in the world and 3 bunches of bananas.

Any ideas what I can do with this lot?

Or leek & potato soup
Huge batch of cauli cheese so some portions can be frozen
A meal with cauliflower ‘steak’ as a side.

I had the most amazing box of fruit and veg this week. I don't think it was a greengrocer, as such - a local business who can't do their normal work at the moment, so they've tried to do something useful. The picture isn't 'my' box, but mine was very similar. As well as what is visible, there was a bag of potatoes, red apples, Granny Smith apples, some huge oranges, a kiwi, parsnips and a couple of other bits as well. Everything very fresh, good quality, well worth the £20, which included delivery. I'll definitely order from them again and my only regret is that they won't be continuing once this situation is sorted because I would be happy to order on a weekly basis.

When ds was little and I was at home I used to get a weekly fruit and veg box and would get so excited by it (love a good box) that I would photograph it and send it to DH at work!

I didnt get my cauliflower today from ocado and havent been able to get broccoli,
I bought a soup maker when this started and the cauliflower and cheese soup has been the favourite so far.

Cauliflower is gorgeous made into soup.

Also, lovely in any sort of curry.

And never forget, the beautiful cauliflower cheese.

I would make cauliflower cheese with the potatoes and leeks in there too.

Cauliflower mash and nuggets. Pickled cauliflower. Roasted cauliflower. I love cauliflower.

Cover the cauliflower with houmous and roast in the oven.

I got a massive leek and potatoes in my veg box too. I thought about leek and potato homity pie but ended up using the leek in something else. I might make the homity pie still though. Sounds delicious! Also you can grate and freeze the cauliflower for cauliflower rice.

Just ordered a box for my MIL as getting online slots even for an 80 year old is a nightmare! Ordered just after 9pm but still hoping they may get it out tomorrow!

If I lived in London I would happily swop you a few caulies for the ridiculous amount of aubergines, courgettes and lettuce I received in my veg box. I can make use of the cauli's. One meal of aubergine and courgette is enough to last us a month. No room in the freezer to batch bake 😕 Who needs more than one lettuce??
