Im currently obsessed with Greek yogurt for breakfast.
What's your favorite topping combination?
I've usually have chopped banana, mixed berries, chopped nuts and honey.
I've recently had it with chopped kiwi and mango which was also delicious.
Just wondering what everyone else has so I can possibly steal your ideas? Grin

Much to the horror of my children I just eat it plain.

Not for breakfast, but for a pudding for one greedy person: thick Greek yoghurt, lemon curd, squeeze of lemon juice, served with a couple of posh biscuits to dip in it.

I have full fat Greek Yoghurt every morning with sliced banana, a sachet of bimuno (prebiotic powder) and a couple of tablespoons of flaxseed. If I'm making porridge for son, I'll dollop a bit of that on as well.

Excellent ideas here.

But you are all wrong about the best Greek yoghurt - it’s defo Aldi’s. It comes in a pink tub ( low fat ) and blue tub ( full fat ) - I only eat the latter.

It’s thicker and slightly less sweet than the Lidl one.

My BIL agrees Aldi’s is the most authentic and he’s a Greek chef !

It's good with Chia seeds (left overnight) and a dollop of jam on top.

I have the Lidl bucket and it’s lovely but doesn’t appear to be bio-live yoghurt. Ant tips for an equally good one that is?

Thanks to pp who suggested walnuts. Added them to my yogurt, porridge oats and berries earlier and they were chewy and delicious.

Thanks NiteFlights, I’ll try that. Not sure why so many aren’t probiotic. Lots of gorgeous ideas above. I have not tried most of the savoury ones but I will.

Toasted oats and dried cranberries. If you turn your back on the oats you start the morning with the rousing cry of the smoke alarm
