DD says I should be more adventurous.

Can anyone translate New Zealand 'cups' (don't know if they are the same or different from American 'cups', but don't know how to convert either) into either ounces or grams for me please ?

I assume NZ cups are metric like oz, 250ml

Had anyone mentioned Nigella's Malteaser Traybake? Divine.

I made this Blackberry and Apple loaf yesterday with blackberries scavenged from the nearby field. Really easy to make and smelled amazing as it was cooking. I don't have a large enough loaf tin so I did it in a shallow square traybake tin and it came out beautifully. As it recommends, I covered it with foil after an hour to stop it from browning too much. I've only got two squares left - I need to pick more blackberries!

These blondies are the new favourite chez nous. Very easy to make. I use less chocolate and miss out the marshmallows altogether.

Tried the sticky lemon fingers today. Not convinced they turned out right BUT happy to try them tomorrow....
