I'm probably posting this in the wrong section but I'm just wondering what you guys have for breakfast or what you have as a "healthy breakfast"
I have two pieces of toast everyday and it dawned on me that I have 14 slices of toast a week!!!!!

Lately it's been biscuits or crumpets but when I'm watching what I eat:

Sourdough toast with butter and honey or marmite

Banana pancakes (ripe banana, egg, palmful of oats + tsp flaxseed - blend!)

Porridge with water and an egg cracked in at the start of cooking - mix! Sweeten with maple syrup and add frozen berries

Sourdough toast with egg and maybe some tinned toms

Homemade granola or alpen no sugar granola - hardly any raisins and really nice

I need to get back to this. Biscuits are not fuelling me for the day at all!

Muesli, Greek yogurt, fresh or stewed fruit. Pretty much every morning, I'm creature of habit...

Home made low carb almond flour bread with tons of butter and a cup of tea with almond milk.

Fauxtatoes

Is this bread gluten free?

What are overnight oats??

Fauxtatoes · 18/08/2017 09:22

It sure is!

30g of ground almonds
5g of ground flaxseed (if you don't want to use flaxseed just use 35g of almond flour)
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
pinch of salt

Sometimes if the egg is too small I add a dash of almond milk to make it a bit wetter. Put it into a square glass tupperware dish and microwave for 90 seconds. If the dish isn't too wide you can cut it in half. I have a smaller dish that I use if I want 3 slices. It can be eaten like that or can be toasted if you want a crunch.

Thanks! Sounds amazing. I'm hoping egg substitute will work as I can't have eggs
