I'm probably posting this in the wrong section but I'm just wondering what you guys have for breakfast or what you have as a "healthy breakfast"
I have two pieces of toast everyday and it dawned on me that I have 14 slices of toast a week!!!!!

Thanks! Sounds amazing. I'm hoping egg substitute will work as I can't have eggs

It sure is!

30g of ground almonds
5g of ground flaxseed (if you don't want to use flaxseed just use 35g of almond flour)
1 egg
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
pinch of salt

Sometimes if the egg is too small I add a dash of almond milk to make it a bit wetter. Put it into a square glass tupperware dish and microwave for 90 seconds. If the dish isn't too wide you can cut it in half. I have a smaller dish that I use if I want 3 slices. It can be eaten like that or can be toasted if you want a crunch.

Muesli, Greek yogurt, fresh or stewed fruit. Pretty much every morning, I'm creature of habit...

Lately it's been biscuits or crumpets but when I'm watching what I eat:

Sourdough toast with butter and honey or marmite

Banana pancakes (ripe banana, egg, palmful of oats + tsp flaxseed - blend!)

Porridge with water and an egg cracked in at the start of cooking - mix! Sweeten with maple syrup and add frozen berries

Sourdough toast with egg and maybe some tinned toms

Homemade granola or alpen no sugar granola - hardly any raisins and really nice

I need to get back to this. Biscuits are not fuelling me for the day at all!

I have toast or crumpets, with butter or Marmite. Or a piece of banana bread if I've baked some. Sometimes followed by a kiwi fruit and maybe strawberries too.
I usually have eggs and toast on Sundays.

I alternate between:

Porridge with raisins

Homemade granola & whole milk

Greek yoghurt & fruit

Sourdough bread with honey, or avocado, or scrambled egg

Pancakes and berries and maple syrup (when dc persuade me to make them)

Any of the above keep me going until lunchtime.

Monday - Saturday I have Huel for breakfast.

Sundays I usually have either smashed avocado or mushrooms on toast, a tofu omelette or huevos ranchero (vegan style).

Peanut butter on linseed/soya bread (burgen) very filling. Or a boiled egg and same toast. Or porridge with either a teaspoon of peanut butter stirred in or a linseed/chia/goji mix on top.

Usually 2 eggs scrambled

Greek yoghurt with granola, sometimes with fruit and occasionally a drizzle of honey. This is my most common one because it is so easy to throw together.

Maybe twice a week I will have something that takes more time, like poached eggs and toast or scrambled eggs mushrooms and bacon.

Interested in some of the ideas here.

Paul O'Grady (in Lily Savage guise) talked about:

"A northern breakfast, a Blackpool breakfast - 20 ciggies and a pot of tea.."

I used to laugh at this, as my (non smoking) mother and grandparents were from Blackpool.

Personally, I have (4) Aldi economy weetabix. In my defence they are quite small.

Very occasionally I will have some cereal but most days I have toast with a pot of tea. It may not be the best breakfast but I enjoy it and keeps me going from 6.30am until about 11am when I have a banana. I mix up the toppings between various jams (strawberry, raspberry, apricot, etc), marmalade, honey, peanut butter and on the weekend, chocolate spread.
