Morning ladies!

It's Friday. End of the week. Dinner time. What are we having? I'm simply interested to know how many will cook and how many will succumb to the temptation of the delivered takeaway??

Me; I'm cooking.

I'm cooking. Takeaway night is tomorrow. I don't work on a Friday though, so done all my chopping and preparation already.

We are having slow cooked chicken and spinach madras with cauli rice for me and normal rice for dp.

HandbagCrab · 19/05/2017 17:22

Sausages, mash, carrot & swede, peas, sweet corn and gravy for tea here. Takeaways are pretty poor here and I'm calorie counting so get more bang for my buck if I make it myself. Be ready in 10!

Last time I had a takeaway delivered it was really disappointing.

We are however down to the bottom of the fridge and the boys have been unwell and are only just regaining their appetites.

So, I've been freezer diving.

Meatballs for the boys.
Bake in the bag cod fillets for me and dh. They're sainsbury's ones and the ingredients look pretty decent, so I'm hoping they pass muster as something I can buy again for days like today.

I'm heating up some homemade ready meals for my Ds and DH (sweet chilli pork with rice) and I'm making something veggie for me from pak choi, radishes and radish greens..from my allotment.....probably with a boiled egg and seasoned with garlic, ginger and Chinese 5 spice.

I'm cooking; chicken katsu curry with jasmine rice and a leafy green salad on the side.

Chrisinthemorning · 19/05/2017 17:45

Chinese takeaway. We go on holiday tomorrow

Butternut squash, spinach and goats cheese risotto. It's a Waitrose recipe. I'm not a vegetarian, but like to have a meat free day at least once a week.

We cook nearly every night, - tonight it is more warm up.
dahl from the freezer, beef left over from roast beef earlier in the week, yoghurt and cucumber raita along with garlic and coriander naan ( naan shop bought)

The baby was starving after nursery so I just did her a fish pie ready meal with steamed veg Blush I'll either have pork chop with stir fried veg or with mash, leeks, asparagus and gravy. Will try and resist a takeaway anyway

Have lemon and herb chicken + chilli + veggie curry leftover form yesterday and day before

Rice has cooked on timed rice cooker

So we sit down to our three course meal after a long day of work.

Have chucked in a massive chicken curry and a beef tagine into the slow cookers for the weekend during which we don't cook as time is precious!!
