Morning ladies!

It's Friday. End of the week. Dinner time. What are we having? I'm simply interested to know how many will cook and how many will succumb to the temptation of the delivered takeaway??

Me; I'm cooking.

I'm cooking - well easy cooking; bought falafel and I will do grilled veg, hummus and couscous too Smile

FauxFox · 19/05/2017 10:09

And maybe chocolate mousse if I can be bothered...

MyHairNeedsASnip · 19/05/2017 10:10

I'm cooking. Chilli wraps for us tonight.

tigerdog · 19/05/2017 10:13

Not cooking as such - more assembling - a mackerel salad. I'll steam a few new potatoes so I guess you can count that! Busy day at work, gym at lunchtime and theatre tonight so no time for anything more!

TeddyIsaHe · 19/05/2017 10:15

I'm cooking - moussaka and salad. Need a bit of comfort food in this grotty weather!

Wonders71 · 19/05/2017 10:18

Were having chicken and chorizo chilli pasta...easy peasy

WhatHaveIFound · 19/05/2017 10:32

I'm cooking as DH cooked last night. It'll be a very easy fish, rice & veg.

TheCrowFromBelow · 19/05/2017 10:40

I'm cooking easy chicken tikka masala; the chicken is already diced and the curry sauce is in the freezer. Just need to add them together and cook rice.
Takeaway round here is not great and very expensive, plus we have to go and collect it.

ew1990 · 19/05/2017 10:43

Me, got a curry going in the slow cooker

DeanKoontz · 19/05/2017 10:44

I'm cooking. DS is coming home from a school holiday and taco's have been requested.

MusicToMyEars800 · 19/05/2017 10:44

I am cooking, we will be having macaroni cheese, we had a dominos last night Grin

KustardKat · 19/05/2017 11:11

Steak with garlic butter, samphire and spinach.

Trying to be healthy so that I can then justify half a bottle of wine and half a tub of ice cream :)

JacquelineChan · 19/05/2017 11:15

salmon and spinach pasta ! DP away on business , he hates fish so this is a good opportunity to enjoy without him complaining about the smell !

he usually cooks so this will be a novelty , 5 mins washing up vs 30 mins when he does the cooking

Mummysh0rtlegs · 19/05/2017 11:18

Cooking - we had pizza mid-week as I had a bad day and tomorrow we are out (And my dress is too tight, curses pizza). I will be going to the gym while the others eat and have mine after my spinning and pump classes.

OhHolyFuck · 19/05/2017 11:19

I'm cooking, will be fajitas I think

Oogle · 19/05/2017 11:20

Cooking lamb tagine because I'm at home with a poorly toddler, otherwise it would be freezer surprise.

Pantah630 · 19/05/2017 11:22

I'm cooking, cashew chicken curry.

MrsD79 · 19/05/2017 12:18

Wow that's so cool to see! I honestly thought most people get a takeout (well that's what I see on social media) & get drunk. I only tend to agree to takeout once a month & in my opinion the only 1 worth the calories is fish and chips. The rest are just nasty. I'm my own worst enemy, I have just marinated some ribs for the weekend and some wings for tonight (hubby's fave), and am now making pakore (bhajis) proper ones & home made samosas for the 1st time ever. I don't think I'll notice too many errors after a few drinks later 😕

Sausage casserole and mash here for me, DH, Dd and dm.
Saturday is takeaway day for us.

DeanKoontz · 19/05/2017 14:32

If we have a takeaway, it tends to be mid-week. Takes the pressure off.

SayHelloDoris · 19/05/2017 14:37

A takeaway listed on JustEat.com

oceanjanie · 19/05/2017 14:39

Cooking - but not much. Home made pizza. Going to make extra dough and freeze some for another night as well.

Gooseygoosey12345 · 19/05/2017 15:02

Cooking as well. Well OH will be as I feel rotten today. The joys of headaches and getting towards the end of pregnancy. No idea what he'll cook but as long as we're fed I don't care (also I have no leg to stand on about moaning about what he cooks as he's worked all day and I haven't)

NennyNooNoo · 19/05/2017 16:27

Me. Smoked mackerel fish cakes with peas and chicken drumsticks and rice for the one who doesn't eat fish.

Never have proper takeaways. About once a month we have a supermarket 'takeaway'. We had a Tesco Chinese takeaway-in-a-box yesterday because I had an evening meeting to go to. It doesn't actually save that much time as I cooked extra chicken and veg to go with it.

BellaGoth · 19/05/2017 16:30

I'll cook something for the DCs (4 and 9 months). DH is picking up pizzas from the supermarket pizza counter for us. Much cheaper than a takeaway!
