Just done mine

Tonight: pea risotto
Tomorrow : left over bean stew with pasta
Sunday: cauliflower and brocolli chese
Monday: Thai green veggie curry
Tuesday: lentil and hallumi salad
Wednesday: minted pea soup
Thursday: going out
Friday: home made vegetable pasties

God I bloody love a meal plan

Mon lentil bolognese
Tues herby cod cakes in tomato sauce plus green veg and cous cous
Weds mushroom risotto with green beans
Thurs cashew chicken with egg fried courgette noodles spinach etc
Fri tomato and salami frittata with sweet potato wedges and green veg
Sat leftover frittata for lunch, watercress soup and sourdough for supper
Sun out for lunch then not sure about supper!

No doubt I will change this about as usual, but so far.
Tonight Thai red chicken, sweet potato and peanut curry with sweet and sour pineapple and noodles
Sat Stuffed, wrapped pork chops with prune orzo and spinach
Sun Boneless buffalo wings, blue cheese dip, chips and pickles
Mon Chicken foo yung, stir fried tofu, green beans with ginger and oyster sauce
Tue Gammon roast dinner
Weds Pea and ham soup with cheese pasty
Thurs Mushroom and chestnut pudding

I get a meat box delivered so I try and plan around that.

Tonight - sweet and sour chicken with noodles and steamed vegetables
Saturday - Pork and apple casserole with mashed sweet potato
Sunday - Red Thai vegetable curry
Monday - whatever needs using before shopping is delivered on tuesday Grin
Tuesday - homemade burgers with salad and sweet potato fries
Wednesday - 'Japanese' salmon and rice
Thursday - vegetable lasagne
Friday - lamb stew
Saturday - venison steaks with roast vegetableso and a port sauce

Sat - roast chicken pieces, chips, salad
Sun - pasta with bacon & cabbage
Mon - meatballs, tomato/veg sauce, rice
Tue - baked pots, tuna, salad
Wed - carrot soup, naan bread & chocolate pudding (this is our 'out of a packet' night!)
Thu - chicken korma to Inc sweet potato & mushrooms
Fri - pasta, pesto, tomato, olives & any leftover salad bits

Just putting away the sainsburys delivery now!

Lots of those opening meal plans sound v healthy & sophisticated compared to mine...

I really need to get back into doing this. Maybe this thread will spur me on.

Plans thus far:

Saturday: toad in the hole with green beans and carrots
Sunday: slow cooked beef roast with all the trimmings
Monday: bacon and pea risotto
Tuesday: something with salmon steaks
Wednesday: no idea. Something very easy we'll be out in the afternoon. Baked beans and toast, perhaps. Grin
Thursday: leftover roast lamb with baked potatoes and other vegetables
Friday: chicken & pineapple casserole with rice and mixed veg

Tonight - Stifado (beef and pork cooked in red wine and herbs), rice, Greek salad.

Saturday - eating out.

Sunday - lamb shanks with cannellini beans plus veg.

Monday - something from freezer (maybe bean and pasta soup or Thai curry).

Friday was kedgeree with added prawns.
Saturday - Mediterranean turkey steaks, crusty sourdough for dipping
Sunday - Chicken thighs in mushroom sauce w pasta
Monday - low cal day. Tuna steak with veg stirfry
Tuesday - Turkey mince, probably Mexican burgers with guacamole and sour cream
Wednesday - Macaroni cheese
Thursday - some sort of curry and rice to use up leftovers.

Thursday- miso, veg and noodle soup

Friday- vegetable and chickpea tagine with mint couscous

Saturday- chicken and mushroom pie

Sunday- roast duck with red cabbage, roast potatoes, and broccoli

Monday- sweet potato and spinach dhal

Today - sausage, mash, yorkshire puddings and veg
Wed - meatloaf, roast spuds, veg
Thurs (work day) - grilled cheese sandwiches with crisps and salad
Fri (work day) - ciabatta with pate, salad and crisps
Sat - steak and chips
Sun - chicken wrapped in bacon topped with cheese sauce, mushrooms and spring onions with chips
Monday - macaroni cheese

Monday: chilli cauliflower rice with roasted chickpeas

Thursday: white bean and brocolli lasange
Friday: goats cheese and red onion tart with new potato and salad

Tonight (kids)- smoked salmon pasta
Tonight (grown ups) - chicken jalfrezi from hairy dieters book
Saturday - kids are eating at a party so I am experimenting with kale pesto pasta with tomatoes and chilli maybe also a poached egg on top
Sunday - meatballs and pasta with salad etc
Monday - chicken casserole
Tuesday - roasted veg and tortellini
Weds - burrito with leftover chilli in freezer, salsa and avocado
Thursday - sweet and sour chicken from hairy dieters book...again!

Hells bells, I can't let my DH see this thread, he'd say he was malnourished with the mega bland stuff he gets.
I've not even heard of some of these things or eaten them.

Tomorrow: Beef shin chilli in brioche buns with pickled veg and chipotle mayonnaise
Sunday: Italian chicken broth with pasta, followed by chicken and mushroom pie
Monday - Fast day, courgette daal
Tuesday - Grilled pork chops with bulgar and borlotti beans
Wednesday - Something with prawns
Thursday - Fast day, shakshouka
Friday - Quick chilli con carne

  • baked pots with veg chilli con carne type thing made with soya mince (experimenting with the mince, wish us luck!)
  • smoked mackerel & leek pasta
  • beef fajitas
  • a second appearance for the veggie chilli
  • fish goujons, chips, salad (packet night...)
  • tomato soup, cheesy toast, fruit crumble for pud
  • steak, salad

Tonight - tray bake with duck legs, chorizo, and potatoes
Monday - Haggis, neeps and tatties
Tuesday - lentil soup and crusty bread
Wednesday - roast lamb, gravy, baked potatoes, vegetables
Thursday - fish of some description
Friday - pork hock. Not sure what I'm going to do with it as it's the first time I've bought one. Will be interesting!
