Okay so we know about Pot Noodles - what about Angel Delight?

Just made one up for dds' pudding and it's going down a treat!
Well they get a good milk intake don't they?

i give mine angel delight quite often. never worried about it, well the milks good isn't it

used to have this loads when i was growing up, mum said it was cheap. dont give it to mine asyoungest cant havemilk

I picked up a pack the other day and read that it is supposed to be made with water....

I didn't get it as I think the only goodness in it is the milk - and I am sure there is lots of rubbish in it if I looked closely enough!

So do you make it with milk then? Do you packets say to use milk or water? I would buy it if you could use milk!

i love the idea of angel delight but hate the taste. always have, even as a kid. much to my mum's proud pleasure. but then again i loved ice magic, and i know she loathed that

It is kind of like really thick custard served cold! Only it tastes nicer than that sounds!

no its a sort of instant mousse in various flavours, I used to like mixing the chocolate and butterscotch ones. I always made it with milk. For the over 35s does anyone remember waht the rival one called?

God I want some so badly now. Don't they do a low sugar one now too, pleeeease.

the best thing about angel delight is when you let your kids whisk it up. mine love doing that. the worst is eating it. yuck.

mine love it too..... probably full of junk but I try and tell myself they are getting the milk! I hate the butterscotch one! It used to be my favourite when I was little and I ate so much of it once it make me throw up Havent eaten it since and even refuse to buy it for my lo's as I cant even stand the smell of the butterscotch!!

Ice Magic ... ooooooo yes! Ice cream sauce thing that used to go rock hard as soon as it hit the icecream!! mmmmm yum

Ice magic was awful. It mcuh nicer to put single cream on ice cream and let it freeze!

You can get sugar free but they just don't taste the same!!!!

My lo loves the stuff and as a treat sometimes he gets chocolate sprinkles or if I'm on a fruit & veg drive I put fruit in it and he mixes it all in.

Butterscotch is definitely the best one!!!!
