Fruit Shoots, cheese strings, those cartons of 'meat'(sorry, industrial slurry) and cheese, weird yoghurts that don't need to be refrigerated and have a 'best before' date of 2018.
The healthiest thing was probably a plastic bread sandwich with some sort of processed chicken slice in it.

When I see their little shining faces and strong bodies, exuding energy ,and then see what they are fuelling themselves with,I want to take said cheese strings and garotte their parents.

I haven't given in to the bullies yet but I do get complaints from ds1 about the dearth of cheestrings and rubbish in his lunchbox! The school do have a healthy eating policy but I don't think there is much they can do about parents who allow the rubbish . Ds is allowed to choose what to bring on school trips so he chose chocolate, chocolate and chocolate the last time. He was very sick afterwards!Taught him a valuable lesson!
Am very of LGJ's little tapas-lover!

DS1 has a little jam jar for his "savings". He wants to "save up" to buy cheese strings from Tesco.
