It has been a house of plague over here. Poor DH came down hand, foot and mouth really badly. Mine was a mild case in comparisons and poor DSis has had it bad as well. She caught it when visiting last weekend.

I am now keeping my fingers crossed that DD doesn't give us anything nasty now!

Evening, not much excitement here, I'm too pregnant to move basically. I finally ordered the carseat adapters horay! So baby is now sorted. I'm now browsing the m&s website to spend my voucher.

I went to RL but it was weird so I came back.

bonkey it worked with my ds, dd otoh needs some help, today in the car she was quietly drawing in a notepad, she dropped the notepad and instead of asking me or dp to pick it up she coloured in a solid block of around 4"x4" in blue biro on her new coat!!!!!!!!! Luckily it came out but its a good job I was on my way to drop her at my Mums for a few hours, I needed to do a lot of deep breathing after that incident! Little troll.

Really annoyed spent the evening on m&s website finding bits to spend my voucher on and it wouldn't work, so I log into check gift card balance and its as it should be, try to pay again and it won't. Had a small tantrum turned laptop off and sulked off to bed, will try again tomorrow.

Very annoying! Hope it works tomorrow.

Crappy morning in ShakyTowers. Ds had a 30 minute meltdown in his bedroom because I took his nappy off, George pig tears and hiding under his bed!
Then my car had a flat battery and wouldn't start so dp had to take ds to nursery.
When he got back we had to jump start my car, which had hardly any petrol in. I have been out for a drive and refuelled.
It's -5 here, my toes are numb. I'm going to have a cuppa and some crumpets, put the fire on and thaw out.

My car which decided yesterday to have a tantrum and put the light of doom on (engine management) dp popped the bonnet and looked at a few things, pressed some leads in tighter and today light of doom has gone...
Also dp, the sodding arse has had a sore toe for weeks finally went to the dr today, he's not having a fecking operation for ingrown toenail on monday!!!! And results are back showing his hips aren't right so he's on the urgent list for an mri, great timing!

As per usual aswell dps family haven't listened thank fully he managed to intercept before they ALL arrived next weekend, yes next weekend as in when ill be getting home with dc3! They make my blood boil!

Shaky, our DF bought us a snooker table when we were kids but the only place it could go was in the lounge. Which meant people were often taking their shots while more or less sitting in someone else's lap. And then there was the time DF potted the black in DM's cup of tea...

So I've just been to the Job Centre for my assessment, and I've got an appointment next week to work on my CV since I'm massively out of practice. The good part is that my JSA confirmation letter SHOULD arrive tomorrow / Fri which will be in time for me to get free places on the courses I want to do.
So fingers crossed...
I can see what you and Snowy mean about the freedom of not having a permanent job, Tee, but right now I'd really like the security of one. Which doesn't mean I'm not going to have as many experiences as possible while looking!

In all fairness dps sister has said ok no worries, even if she didn't bring her dcs 5 adults added to our house is too many with a new baby and MIL makes me so damn anxious. I'm already feeling precious about dc3, hormones running wild, its a year ago today I was in hospital for the op following my mc so whilst I'm so excited about this baby I do wonder what if, I shouldn't as me and dp were in a bad place at that time and it was so unplanned whereas this wasn't and so wanted after going through that so anyway, I feel I've been pregnant or 'expecting a baby' for so long due to the mmc that I feel very much like I'd rather people didn't come round and interfere, just leave us to be a family and let me hold it for as long as I desire --so MIL do NOT take it off me as I've had it long enough, its never long enough when its your new baby --
