EmpressOfTheElves ??

EmpressOfSantasElves ??

EmpressOfTheNorthPole ??

I shall think, I'm sure I better....

Shaky · 25/11/2012 23:31

We've all got the cough and snot too [Sad]

I was fine yesterday but ds was snotty and coughing, but now we are all snotty and coughing.

Empress step away from the hair dye Wink, it will end in tears, come here for a snuggle instead.

I'm brutal with my books too, they get offered to my mum first and if she has read then, they get offered to my sister, if she doesn't want them they go to the charity shop.

I haven't read a book in months as I seem to spend all my free time on here Grin

EmpressOfTheMadBoxOfFrogs · 25/11/2012 23:39

I think you're right Shaky!

Hmmm I like EmpressOfTheNorthPole so far, Bonkey.

The only stuff that seems to work on my cold is Day Nurse. I know to the minute when I'm due the next dose.

StateofConfusion · 26/11/2012 11:02

Well dd is home from nursery, she just hasn't slept enough and they play outside a lot so I'd rather keep her in, but I can't decide whether to bother with the drs? She's coughing all evening/night but is otherwise fine today, just a bit snotty. Finally got through to my MW, no one can see me until thursday, booked that apt and as soon as I hung up remembered I see my consultant that day anyway, so I now need to move mw apt

I'm just seriously fed up atm.

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 26/11/2012 11:16

Oh State :(

Hope you and your dd get feel better soon!

I'm still full of cold, but happy because I have 11 packets to post today!

Shopping later. Problem: All i want to eat and all I have eaten in about a week is coco pops and sandwiches Hmm . Although I do quite fancy some chocolate....

YankTeeDoodleDanTee · 26/11/2012 11:27

I too have the cough that will not quit. I've decided a trip to GP will be wasted so I'm dosing up with over the counter cough medicine. If it's not gone in another few days I'll see someone.

state My husband and I couldn't live without our books around us, although there are still several boxes in the garage. Hence the organizing and new cases with are brilliant and huge and deep. All books should be up by the end of the year. We've only been in the house just over a year, don't rush us!! Grin

Empress I like Empress of the North Pole, myself.

Spoke to LittleTee's CM today about the pull up situation. She's not thrilled, but she understands. Not like she has a choice, unless she wants to drop him, but doesn't seem like she wants to. He'll get to pants when he's ready.

Must dash back to school to get him. Later!

StateofConfusion · 26/11/2012 12:07

Dd is on the sofa watching crap christmas dvds, dp is upstairs sorting the dcs bedrooms and I'm ignoring the washing up screaming at me from the kitchen. I think I'm at the 'beenpregnantforeverandtheweeksaredraaaaagging' stage, scan on thurs and this little one gets its eviction date, its just so hard trying to plan and organise christmas when we've no idea what this baby will be like, and none of the sodding family will give straight answers!

DreamySleepyNightySnoozySnooze · 26/11/2012 12:24

Don't think there's much the dr can do about a cough State, unless she's wheezy or has had it for over a week. :(

Ds has stayed home today. He's got a temp and he's been up loads in the night coughing. :( He stayed in be til 11.30am, and now we're watching Charlie and Lola in our pjs.

I love my books too, but we've run out of shelf space in our tiny house so some have had to go into storage. :( Hopefully Santa is bringing us kindles so we don't have to buy any more. I'll never get rid of the ones we have though, I get very sentimentally attached to books.

StateofConfusion · 26/11/2012 13:18

No wheezing and its only been 24hrs its become an issue iyswim, no temp or anything either, she is quieter than usual and laying about watching tv which is rare for her but I'm not overly worried tbh. She stayed in bed when dp and ds got up, then went for breakfast and came and joined me in bed until 10am, despite being skint I am so glad dp is off work atm I really have no idea what I'd do without him.

Hope your ds is better soon, its rotten when they aren't well. How are things with baby dreamy going? Any relief yet, or response from insurance?

YankTeeDoodleDanTee · 26/11/2012 17:36

God I feel like crud again. With my period starting on top of yet another fibro flare.

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 26/11/2012 21:30

Oh its so quiet everywhere tonight!!!

WHERE IS EVERYONE?

showtunesgirl · 26/11/2012 21:35

Ssssh, I'm having a meltdown. Let me have it in peace!

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 26/11/2012 21:37

Oh no...what wrong? :(

showtunesgirl · 26/11/2012 21:40

Just the tiredness of the weekend catching up with me. It's not easy throwing two parties in one day and doing ALL the catering yourself and then having to look after DD and clear up the next day.

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 26/11/2012 21:41

Awww, I'm dreading ds's birthday weekend in two weeks and thats just one!

Early night a option?

snowtunesgirl · 26/11/2012 21:51

DH has gone out to get fish and chips and then it's straight off to bed with me.

I have a ton of ishoos going on in my head though. I think the being back at work, having been there for almost a month, is only now hitting home.

snowtunesgirl · 26/11/2012 21:51

How old will DS be Bonkey?

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 26/11/2012 21:54

5 :(

My boys all growing up :(

Flys by far too quickly!

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 26/11/2012 22:04

Negative!!!!!

DreamySleepyNightySnoozySnooze · 26/11/2012 22:24

Insurance won't cover osteopathy :( but we're going ahead with it anyway. I'm desperate! We go for an initial assessment on Monday, and see where we go from there.

Tee, :( Just what you need on top of everything else. Hope you're feeling better really soon, and you have a lovely short period!

This cough thing is a stinker. Ds stayed in bed til 11.30am, then came down in his pjs and watched tv til 5pm, when he said he was tired and wanted to go to bed. Shock He managed to keep down about half a crumpet all day. :( Hope everyone else who has it feels better soon.

Show, after what you pulled off I think you deserve to sleep for a week!

Glad you got the result you wanted Bonkey. although we're going to need new puddle bumps soon cos State and Brian (wherever she is!) will have puddle babies soon!

snowtunesgirl · 26/11/2012 22:39

If anyone wants a really cool way of making a personalised cake, can I recommend this. I bought these and made DD's cake with them and they looked amazing!

Negative? Did I miss something big?

StateofConfusion · 26/11/2012 23:04

Hope it passes quickly tee

Hurrah bonkey glad you got the result you wanted.

show, hope a good nights sleep helps.

I hope it helps dreamy let us know how it goes, and hope dc1 is better soon, dd perked up around 4 and was then a total swine at bedtime and has only just fell asleep, so no nursery again tomorrow

bonkey 5 seems soo big doesn't it? I was very emotional when ds was 5 in July, also the slow realisation this evening that he will be 6 when dc3 is 6mo!

I've had a crap day, no real reason just fed up and tired and dc squables, it was topped off by an arsey text from my aunt see here I'm sick of being tearful, I never usually cry!

ShakiestDude · 26/11/2012 23:07

Congratulations Bonkey Grin on your BFN!

I still feel crap, we are all full of cold, all coughing and snotty and sneezing

Our burglar alarm was going off at 4 am (even though it want set because we were in the house, asleep) because the batteries wanted changing. Nearly gave me a feckin heart attack it did. How it didn't wake ds up I don't know. It was like when you are dreaming that your alarm clock is going off but it turns out to be your mobile ringing, and you haven't got a clue what is going on.

I have been having lots of fun on the dudes thread, it's been lovely and fun, no bun fights, bitching, swearing, deletions or anything, not like mumsnet at all. It was ace! Grin

ShakiestDude · 26/11/2012 23:08

Hence my new name by the way
