Happy Bonfire Night!

OP posts:
SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 23/11/2012 22:07

Shaky My dh is the same. He spent two hours putting up one roller blind once. If we had a swear box it would have been full to bursting Grin

DreamySleepyNightySnoozySnooze · 23/11/2012 22:52

I hope you're feeling a bit better giraffes, and you've managed to get some studying done. Can't believe the nerve of some twats. Most people realise what wonderful things you did, and how kind you are, so I hope that knowing that gives you some comfort.

Also, baby hedgehoglets!! Does no one like my hedgehoglets?!!

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 23/11/2012 22:58

I did Dreamy I did mean to mention it!

The one yawning is sooo cute! Grin

Anyway, who could not like baby hodgehegs!

I am waiting for dh to get out the bath so I can make another point and go to bed yes I am childish and I am past caring atm

Shaky · 23/11/2012 23:01

Dreamy they are gorgeous!

It's getting there, probably only another 2 hours to go ......

StateofConfusion · 23/11/2012 23:09

I luff them dreamy I was only saying to dp yesterday we don't see the ole hedgepigs as often as I'm sure I did as a child, 5 minutes down the road he nearly killed us all avoiding squishing one!

Hope your ok giraffes x

What's he done bonkey? Would he like to sit on the twat bench with my not so (D)p.

I'm making yet another chocolate cake, 3rd this week... This one I'm keeping and eating though Grin

I also had a very mad pregnant/christmas nut moment of madness today, and brought a 10ft light up inflatable santa, and then because I'm really mad got the snowman to match, tacky yes, but the dcs will be sooo excited they've both gazed in amazement at other peoples for years, I may make dp put them up tomorrow to show them Grin

Shaky · 23/11/2012 23:13

State my ds would faint in ecstasy at that!
Enjoy your chocolate cake, it's about time you got to eat one!
Is your dp still on the twat bench?

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 23/11/2012 23:16

Envy of your Santa!

It would get nicked/popped etc outside my flat!

He is just a lazy selfish arse warning may turn into a rant . I have felt shit this week, tired, coldy, sick, and he just fucking sleeps and does piss all. I get up every morning and take ds to school, I go out again to collect him, I have been working my arse off to get orders out/sell stuff so we have some money for Xmas. Yesterday tipped it though...ds got the headteachers award which he had to collect today from assembly. Parents were allowed to go and watch. I asked dh if he was coming (ds would have loved it) , he said no because he has to work tonight. I told him he could come with me drop ds off, go straight to watch him and then he could go back to bed for the day if he wanted (genuinly wouldn't have minded) but NO, he couldn't be arsed :(
He know hes in the shits, but its worse at the moment than he is normally. I just want him to pick ds up once a week or something just so that i can have a teeny break from the boring walk I have to do twice a day.
He is well and truly on the twat bench until further notice.

Top it all off I may need to do something poas to rule that out for the nausea that I have had for a few weeks. My friend bought it up yesterday so I am slightly stressed about that.....I think its no but gah!

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 23/11/2012 23:16

Wow, long rant there, must have needed to come out Hmm

Shaky · 23/11/2012 23:57

this is what dp has spent all night building

He has finally finished and it is looking good.

He has another one to do for the lounge tomorrow night [grin>

Shaky · 23/11/2012 23:58

Ah feck, I fucked up my grin Grin

Shaky · 24/11/2012 00:01

Bonkey do you really think you need to POAS?

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 24/11/2012 00:08

No idea. I don't feel it and i take my pill same line everyday without fail but i have had a few rough bouts of sickness and squits in the last few weeks.

I keep getting waves of feeling sick....but i thought it was just this bug. Mostly after a meal and late morning before lunch (don't eat brekkie)

Spoke to friend yesterday and she has made ne paranoid .

I knew with ds two weeks in even after a negative i still knew. I think no but now i need to prove it iyswim Confused

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 24/11/2012 00:09

Typos!

Can your Dh stop staring at his work? Grin

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 24/11/2012 00:11

And i bloody hope not atm!

Im stressed and busy enough as it is.....and would very much like to get rat arsed on xmas day!

EmpressOfTheMadBoxOfFrogs · 24/11/2012 00:13

Keep us posted!!!

I want some Puddle opinions on this thread. Either the OP is a genuine NM refugee who doesn't know how to use punctuation & really thinks it's ok to dye her toddler Tyson's hair (in which case HOW do I explain politely why everyone thinks she's having a laugh?) or she's not, in which case it's fine to carry on taking the piss. And I'm not sure which.

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 24/11/2012 00:22

Scan read Grin

I genuinely have no idea Grin

EmpressOfTheMadBoxOfFrogs · 24/11/2012 00:28

Me neither so far...

Congrats to your DS Bonkey, bet he's proud!

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 24/11/2012 00:31

Awww yes he loved it. Kept waving at me and doing air punches Grin

Guess what he got....his award was....wait for it......dum dum DUM ......a sticker Hmm

EmpressOfTheMadBoxOfFrogs · 24/11/2012 00:38

It's the honour though Grin

DD's desperate to be made a class prefect BECAUSE...

She will then get to wear a plain red tie instead of a stripy one. And while the school has strict rules about the number of stripes that have to be visible on a standard tie, since the plain ones have no stripes that apparently means they can be worn to any length the wearer chooses.

The priorities of a 12 year old!

Chocolate brownie?

SantaKissedBonkeyMollocks · 24/11/2012 00:40

Sounds like a good reason Grin

Chocolate brownie would very much loved! :)

Shaky · 24/11/2012 00:41

I've just read it and I'm truly baffled.
It looks like someone has escaped been banned from the other dark side and has no idea about MN.
It makes me sad, if I had been treated like that when I was a newbie, I would never have come back Sad
Of course that is if it is genuine, I really don't know these days, I am taken in far too easily

StateofConfusion · 24/11/2012 00:46

I think these two will shaky and our 2yo nephews visiting tomorrow so I think we have to atleast inflate them briefly for them all. I thought they were the height of crap years ago but now I don't care the dcs will LOVE it, and they were a total steal £25 for both of them!

Dp is on the twat bench, nothing serious he was just a bit grumpy and threw dds dressing gown at me instead of passing it, and sulked earlier when I wouldn't share a blanket, I'm pregnant and stroppy, he's greiving and stroppy, we are a formidable pair!

Ooh bonkey do you think, perhaps? Maybe? I had no idea I was pregnant with dd until a particulaly pathetic row with dp, I was sulking upstairs and tidying the bathroom, found the 2nd test from the pack I got ds' bfp on, still to this day I can't put my finger on why I poas, but it was a bfp and I was 8wks!

Will check that thread out now empress I was a netmum Shock a chair mum and ran a weekly meet up for over a year, met a very good friend, but quit the forum --was banned for being a meanie pants-- great site for local bits but mumsnets home, yknow, comfy.
The forum is just a bit mental and sparkly for me.

Chocolate cake is cooked ill be decorating it tomorrow, the giant cupcake I made went down a storm, got a lovely thank you message from Mums friend whos birthday it is and her husband who 'hired' me.

Anyway must go to bed, ils all arriving tomorrow and I am shattered still.

EmpressOfTheMadBoxOfFrogs · 24/11/2012 00:59

The problem is, so I decide to believe she's genuine and offer to help her fit in. What do I say??? Start using punctuation and capital letters, drop the hun and change your ideas on what's appropriate for a toddler?

Or I could start reminiscing about the time Honeydragon Immac'd her baby....

Shaky · 24/11/2012 01:28

Yep, definitely drop the Hun, use some punctuation and learn to spell a bit

You are much braver than me Empress I am a massive coward that wouldn't say boo to a goose and wouldn't recognise a troll it it bit me on the arse.

Shaky · 24/11/2012 01:30

Shock state you were a NM Shock Shock Shock
