Still feel rough....had a bit of a meltdown last night.
I had the flu in march and it was awful, never been so ill before. I panicked last night that I was going to get like that again :( Cue tears - which lead to being ill and feeling worse . Easy day today!

State Every bloody time I think I have too change my phone and every bloody time it does it itself!

9.49 am here, and no sign of anyone.

I suspect ds2 won't get up at all today, as he knows this is D-day for starting exam revision. I think I heard ds1 come in at about 6 am, so hopefully he too will stay in bed. He'll be horrible when he emerges.

I hope you feel better soon Bonkey. I too like hot ribena. But I find chocolate and paracetamol help too.

I had a nice browse around an epic christmas display at a garden centre today with dd, sil and dn. Which was nice and dd chose her christmas decoration a very pretty bauble with Tinkabelle on it (they get a new decoration every year, as I did growing up, my tree is very unique)

Evening all, feeling slightly more human! Just need to shift the headache and I think I may be sorted!

Love the garden centre's at christmas time! Got so carried away last year! We do the one more like 10 by the time christmas is actually here new dec every year!

Last year was the first year we had a proper Christmas Tree (fake, though, I don't really like real ones) since we've been in small flats until we moved to our house so I bought tons of ornaments but I am going to buy one every year as well.

My brother and sister in law do that also and all of our favourite is the one we made out of a shell with a hole in it. We found it on the beach in San Francisco the first year we all moved out there and we were broker than broke things. We couldn't afford an ornament, so we used a Sharpie to write the date on it and put a piece of ribbon through the hole. When I still lived there we used to fight over who got to hang it on the tree.

It was also the first one I looked for when I got to home for Christmas 4 years ago.

Okay now I've made myself maudlin. I should go to bed...

I think I'm probably the only dick head who actually put the clock FORWARD instead off back last night [hblush]. Imagine the confusion this morning when I was leaping out of bed at 9 am, thinking, wow ds has never slept this late. Dp was very unimpressed saying, WTF it only 7, WTF are you doing? I am a knob!

Ds has been better today, no more sickness but has a cough and very snotty nose, he was settled and asleep by 7 pm though.

I've done that before shaky well the other way, gone back instead of forward, that was bloody annoying! It always baffles me.

I thought ds was better, I've just been up to him, coughing and crying. He's settled now but still coughing a bit but at least he hasn't been sick again (yet).
He was most disgusted when I put his bedding in the washer this morning.

Oh I sound like a total slattern, I do wash his bedding, I just do it when he's in nursery usually [hgrin]
