If we are going to do a nativity, we will need one person at the back of the angels, picking their nose, one small one crying on the teacher's lap, and one who is singing the rude words to all the songs. And we will all need tinsel halos. I like a nice tinsel halo - I wear one every year when the choir I am in sings at our local hospice's christmas service.

Oh - and we mustn't forget the Reception class recorder choir - they are an integral part of the musical proceedings, imo. Fifteen recorders, all tuned slightly differently, all playing the same carol but at different speeds, apart from one lad at the back who is blowing as hard as he can into his, to make screeching noises. Not for nothing are the UN thinking of banning the Reception recorder group under the Geneva Convention on Torture. Grin

Bonkey, when you have time read these. But don't try to drink anything while doing it.

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 27/10/2012 12:48

Oh, I have those on my watch list and still haven't read them! Will do later!

StateofConfusion · 27/10/2012 12:49

I'll have a 4 and 5yo by nativity time, ds sings beautifully out of tune, and dd is a dead cert to pick her nose or knickers out of her bum. Little darlings.

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 27/10/2012 12:52

We can round up the mini Puddlehumpers for that lot [hgrin]

OP posts:
MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 27/10/2012 12:53

My boy will be 5 by then

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 27/10/2012 12:54

DD would be very disdainful but I bet Little Tee and Baby Screamy will help too.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 27/10/2012 12:55

My pfb is 19 and off at university, Bonkey. He has gorn away and left me. >

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 27/10/2012 13:06

Baby Screamy will very obligingly scream in the audience, and probably do a very smelly, explosive poo if we ask nicely.

Ds1 (3yrs 7 months by christmas) will be the one ignoring what everyone else is doing, and trying to climb up on the stable, peering under the donkey, and discovering how to open the hidden trapdoor in the stage. Make sure we don't position the manger over the 'X'.

StateofConfusion · 27/10/2012 13:35

screamy your ds can hang out with mine, at a recent parents evening we were informed he's often found laying under desks inspecting the screws if left to sit at the back of the carpet. I found this hilarious Blush

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 27/10/2012 13:58

Yes that sounds familiar! We had a curriculum evening on Thursday, and the teacher told us she has to have him sitting near her during group activities to keep his attention. His key worker said that she is working with him on concentrating on things for 5 minutes, and hopefully increasing that to 10 minutes eventually. [hhmm] [hgrin]

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 27/10/2012 14:02

I remember at Yr1 parents' evening being told that during carpet time DD liked to do 'weird breakdancing' Blush

StateofConfusion · 27/10/2012 17:15

So were a quiche of cake lovers with slightly odd dcs then Grin

Did I mention dds nursery teacher has told me dd ate a pritt stick last week, a few days after I discovered fluorescent green poo in the toilet, she confessed to eating the halloween play dough Blush

My dp is making me stabby, we just went for a walk and I hung back a bit as I was feeling uncomfortable and pregnant, no rush anyway, he stops and instead of asking if I'm ok says, "you having a fart or something" maybe I'm hormonal or devoid of a sense of humour but all I could respond with was "do fuck off" he's busy tomorrow, and taking ds who's also being a sod, I can't wait!

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 27/10/2012 18:10

Evening all!

Just spent a hour putting beads and other random bits in my new screw boxes. It looks so lovely and tidy! Have found a few packets of beads that i thought I had run out of! Wonde rhow long it will last this time...Hmm

Feel slightly nauseous :( Been coming and going the last few days and its pissing me orf! I would rather get ill or not, but anything in-between drives me loopy! I blame ds and his school germs! Angry

State I would have told him to do one too! Men!

ZombTEE · 27/10/2012 19:28

I'm here, I'm here!

I've playing with my new Kindle Fire. [hgrin] I'm madly in love with it.

How is everyone? I have 2 kinds of Ben & Jerry's and lots of Wine

Shaky · 27/10/2012 21:14

I'm knackered! Why is it that if you fall asleep on the sofa it feels like you have had NO SLEEP AT ALL?!

Also ds has decided that he doesn't need an afternoon nap anymore .

I made a mistake last night. I took a nytol tablet, it says on the box to take it 20 mins before going to bed. I took it 20 mins before I INTENDED to go to bed. It totally knocked me out and I woke up at 05.45 I didn't have a clue where I was or what time it was. Luckily I staggered up the stairs and collapsed again. Next time I will make sure I'm in bed before I take it (I've been waking up at 4 am all anxious and not being able to drift off again)

Did you get your tool box Bonkey? I posted your bracelet today Grin

STDG can I be the one who sings all the rude words, I was a good girl in school and I would love to be a rebel now.

My ds can do a mean "And bingo was his name - o" at full volume, I blame Barney, (I hate the purple fecker).

How's the new kindle Tee are you still in love?

State I would have fainted at the green poo!

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 27/10/2012 21:18

Cheers Shaky! Grin

I'm proper sick now :( Bastard bugs! Bath and bed soon me thinks!

I hate Barney too, never let ds watch it...ever! Wink

Shaky · 27/10/2012 21:38

Oh no bonkey I hope you feel better soon.

Ds woke up coughing and was sick all over his bed. He seems to have settled now (he rarely wakes in the night). There must be a bug going round [hsad].

ZombTEE · 27/10/2012 21:44

Shaky I am still in love. [hgrin]

Oh no bonkey and shaky! Here's to wellness in the morning...

Don't forget to change your clocks.

Shaky · 27/10/2012 21:59

Oh yes, I forgot about that.

How do I get ds to have an extra hour in bed?

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 27/10/2012 22:11

Poor MiniShaky [hsad].

Ooooh Kindle.... Tee did you know there's a sale on? I've just been rereading Cold Comfort Farm on my phone. Brilliant.

I've meant to get edible glitter ever since the glittery poo thread but I keep forgetting.

OP posts:
Shaky · 27/10/2012 22:13

Edible glitter? I have never heard of such a thing!

I learn something new every day on here Smile

ZombTEE · 28/10/2012 06:11

Morning.

I hope other small people of the Puddle didn't wake up an hour early...stupid time change.

empress I did know that but haven't found anything I want to read!

::lays out full cooked breakfast on the sideboard with large vats of tea and coffee::

showtunesgirl · 28/10/2012 09:02

Cold Comfort Farm? I saw something naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasty in the woodshed! Grin

Mini Show woke up an hour early but we wanted her to! She usually gets up at 8 but as she's starting at the childminder's tomorrow, we wanted her new wake up time to be 7 so ta da, it's magically happened!

StateofConfusion · 28/10/2012 09:12

I've no idea when my rug rats rose, dp has to get up when we stay at mils. I believe it was 7.30 so on the new time 6.30, I spent several hours confused as my Blackberry corrected the time itself as I didn't know if it had or not.
