OMG! We have a hot tub!

Amazing!

Well hello MaryZcary have some more Wine has someone been picking on you? How very dare they! . I appear to have missed it all again.

I have had a productive day and had a MASSIVE clear out and tidy up, took bags of stuff to the charity shop and can ALMOST see the bottom of the laundry basket. My house looked pristine until 5.30 when I picked up ds from nursery.

Bonkey I have made your bracelet, there is a pic on FB marked SOLD! I hope you like it!

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 26/10/2012 20:51

Yes I saw it, its fab thankyou. Let me know how I can send payment.
I love the other one too! Grin

Get selling!

MaryZcary · 26/10/2012 21:08

Feck off Bonkey (said in the nicest possible way), I'm just adjusting my Zed for the week.

That brain tumour one is gone now (I think).

I hope the horrible trolling doesn't take off - often when you get one emotionally draining one a few follow. Same with the begging ones [hhmm].

I have all my kids (including dh) home for the Irish bank holiday weekend. I am chugging back the old vino and hiding here.

State, I am of course the very young mum of Mumsnet

Can someone satisfy my curiosity please. How did the Puddle start?

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 26/10/2012 21:10
Grin

I think it was a typo, I joined two thirds of the way through the first norty thread that went under the radar.

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 26/10/2012 21:11

TheJoyfulPuddleJumper ???

Pudde humpers?

Am I right?

StateofConfusion · 26/10/2012 21:14

That's how we got the name yes, we were founded after we managed to discuss posters/trolls and sock puppets for far too long without HQ catching us, hence the norty. Now we talk cake and other random stuffs, mainly cake.

MaryZcary · 26/10/2012 21:14

[arf] at no-one knowing why you are here [hgrin]

MaryZcary · 26/10/2012 21:17

Whoops, x-posted. State knows.

Talking about cake (sort of), I am soooooo disappointed by the lack of a good barmbrack, with ring and coins and sundry other tooth-destroying crap, for Hallowe-en.

They have a few dried up curranty bread things, but nothing like we used to get Sad.

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 26/10/2012 21:25

I was there at the very start Grin

SayCool, Puddlejumper and I were messing about on a thread with a newcomer. SayCool made the typo which then led on to a detailed discussion on Puddlehumping.

HQ pulled the thread cos the newbie was a troll apparently. SC then started a fred about the fred which developed into a discussion on past and possible trolls and broke probably every rule in the MN book. We marvelled every so often at not having been deleted yet but finally someone at HQ noticed and we went splat.

Then came a third thread and someone proposed the formal forming of a quiche, christened The Norty Puddlehumpers. The name Puddle just sort of evolved.

And that's it up to now I think...

MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 26/10/2012 21:27

Ah see, not too far off Grin

MaryZcary · 26/10/2012 21:37

Aha, I get you.

So like most quiches, it came from successful rule-breaking Grin

Shaky · 26/10/2012 22:03

I was a newbie on the thread which first went poof!

Sparking brook was very lovely welcoming newbies, then it became apparent that the other newbie was a troll, the thread was deleted, sparkling was upset, I have been here ever since.

Did you see the puddle musical? It was awesome! Grin

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 26/10/2012 22:14

We HAVE to do a Puddle Nativity.

OP posts:
DZoH · 26/10/2012 22:28

But where could we find a virgin amidst the Puddle raddled old harridans lovely ladies ????? [hgrin]

StateofConfusion · 26/10/2012 22:30

We are so doing a nativity, after all HQ are expecting me to name this baby Jesus and it is due just 3 days before the big event. I have an errant labrador I can use as a donkey. Grin

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 26/10/2012 22:30

I think I joined in on SayCool's thread that HQ pretended didn't exist. We were so very norty, I don't know how we got away with it! Grin

Unfortunately my baby didn't come in time for the grand finale of The Musical. He was supposed to be fired out during the can-can, but decided to stay put for another week or so, despite my vigorous high kicking. [hhmm]

StateofConfusion · 26/10/2012 22:31

I am so a virgin.

DZoH · 26/10/2012 22:31

Whereas there would be many candidates to be the rear end of the animals in the Stable [hgrin]

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 26/10/2012 22:31

DZoH! Where you been?!

DZoH · 26/10/2012 22:33

just back from hollibobs with the lovely Zombie

With this tan I could be an African King [hsmile]

ScreamyShriekyFrightyWoozyWooo · 26/10/2012 22:34

Hope you had a lovely time! Now bugger off back there. Raddled old harridans indeed!!

EmpressOfTheSevenScreams · 26/10/2012 22:36

And Mary so wasn't....

State's got to be Mary, she's the mother of Jesus. Come to think of it HQ haven't got long on that one have they?

OP posts:
MummifiedBonkeyMollocks · 26/10/2012 22:39

Ahem I have a pony who tops a Lab in the donkey auditions!

StateofConfusion · 26/10/2012 22:39

Nope empress they have between 6 and 8 weeks according to my consultant

I heard from a very reliable source the zombie holiday involved slippery nipples

MaryZcary · 26/10/2012 22:40

dd was a sheep in her nativity, btw. ds2 was a star iirc, and ds1 refused to be in it.

We are a family of actors, not [hhmm]
