I have been making christmassy stuff

I'm hoping to make a gingerbread house from scratch this year, I always do gingerbread but never a house --usually eat half the dough before cooking-- also make fudge, truffles, peppermint creams, tiffin and mince pies. Not sure ill have time this year though :( dp does christmas dinner as he's amazing at it.

State Can I have your peppermint cream recipe and the truffles please?

I was ok then my plans for after school all went wrong thanks to people cancelling the dcs got fed up and im now feeling sorry for myself again. Were off to the ils tomorrow, again. Normally I look forward to getting away but this time I lack enthusiasm.

Bonkey, PenAndInk was a very pleasant poster who was a member of a writers' club who allegedly [hhmm] suggested their members tried out storylines on Mumsnet, mostly in the relationships forum.

And I'm splitting posts here in case I get reported.

They all think I'm a sockpuppet of various other mumsnetters, and may have been responsible for a few threads involving being raisedincare, losing their parents on the zeebrugge and had extended threads. She also had dejavuaswell a lot.

The troll's been officially unmasked on the thread now. It was a really nasty one - claiming her toddler was in hospital having a biopsy to check for brain cancer, and all the signs were that OP, who was 38 weeks, was suddenly going to go into labour and end up losing both of them. But a lot of the medical details were wrong and s/he posted contradictory stuff on other threads.

Sigh. I am going to diet hell. Yesterday I had gourmet Indian for lunch, dinner was roast Peking duck from Four Seasons who do the finest roast duck in the world. Then lunch today I had a slap up Turkish meal and I've just wolfed down a large slice of chocolate and Guiness cake.
