Just wondering, need inspiration!

OP posts:

Vegan With a Vengeance - I've liked everything I've made from there.

Housewifefromheaven · 28/06/2012 18:23

Jamie's dinners. I heart Jamie :o

TodaysAGoodDay · 28/06/2012 18:26

River Cottage Veg by the wonderful Hugh. Although I must admit 'Vegan with a Vengeance' is fab, the white bean and roasted garlic soup is to die for!

FYP · 28/06/2012 18:27

1001 cakes Grin

Forwardscatter · 28/06/2012 18:30

Made in Italy by Giorgio Locatelli.

Everyday Harumi. In fact I'm already doing that...

FireOverBabylon · 29/06/2012 11:11

Roast Figs Sugar Snow - one for the autumn months.

NettoSuperstar · 29/06/2012 18:21

Nigella's Kitchen.
It's not my favourite, but I'd choose it to work through for the sheer number and variety of recipes.

IslaValargeone · 29/06/2012 18:23

Nigel Slater's diary of a year or whatever it's called, can't remember off the top of my head.

sc2987 · 29/06/2012 18:28

I have another one by the author of Vegan With a Vengeance and it is also good. But I have always meant to work through Vegan Planet.

delias complete cookery course

Jamdoughnutfiend · 29/06/2012 19:29

Jamie's 30 minute meals - practical and have enjoyed everything I have made

DashingRedhead · 29/06/2012 19:31

Is it cheating to choose a two-volume one? Nigel Slater's Tender or Nigella's Kitchen.

FoofFighter · 29/06/2012 19:31

Have heard lots of good thigns about River Cottage Veg Everyday but I have to admit it would be Diner,s Drive-ins and Dives Blush

Caerlaverock · 29/06/2012 19:33

Another vote for Nigel slaters kitchen diary, it is fantastic

JulesJules · 29/06/2012 19:38

Nigella's How to Eat and the River Cottage Veg

brighthair · 29/06/2012 19:40

I'd be torn between Nigel slater real fast food or Jamie's ministry of food

Pinner35 · 29/06/2012 19:41

Ooh, nigella express for sure.

Taffeta · 29/06/2012 22:06

Garden cookbook by Sarah Raven

Or Sainsbo's mag. Really. I have made so many recipes from there that are fabulous. At least 10 or 15 I make regularly.

lilolilmanchester · 30/06/2012 17:08

For everyday recipes that you really would make... for me either Delia's complete cookery course or Nigella's How to Eat.

EdithWeston · 30/06/2012 17:13

I'd quite like to work through The Feast Day Cookbook - recipes from round the world to fit the festival calendar.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/06/2012 17:17

Deffo not Veg Everyday. I've got it and there's virtually nothing I actually want to eat in it. I bought it after the rave reviews on here but have been v unimpressed. The chard and potato curry was disappointing and there's little else I'm even inspired to try. :(

Mine would be Madhur Jeffrey's World Vegetarian.

lilolilmanchester · 30/06/2012 17:17

Had promised myself not to buy any more cook books, but love the sound of that one Edith

insancerre · 30/06/2012 17:21

delia's complete cookery course. In fact i thank I have worked my way through it- I still have my copy from when we got married in 1987.

droves · 30/06/2012 17:21
