You can have shares in the zoo too Puddle.

FrannyandZooey · 11/02/2006 22:45

Pah! Incarcerate noble beasts for our filthy human petting pleasure, moondog? Never. We could open a small weavers' co-operative, maybe?

moondog · 11/02/2006 23:05

How about a little dairy?
Yak milk yoghurt and cheese??

Maybe a sprouting seed lesbian initiative??

Phad Thai and teriyaki tiger prawns.
Yummy.

FrannyandZooey · 12/02/2006 08:47

Sallystrawberry, if you drink Redbush you don't need fruit or veg, it can cure cancer you know

Moondog - leave the yak's milk for the yaklings, but lesbian seed sprouting? Now you're talking!

LOL SS you eat just like me!

No, it's not good when you see it all on paper is it

Yesterday I had

1/2 bowl porridge
3 rounds of toast with butter
2 wotsit sandwiches
Chop and oven chips with peas and carrots
1 pack Hula Hoops
3 cups of tea
2 pints of orange squash
1 prawn sandwich
1 dairylea dunker

Oh goodness, I am such a hypocrite. I would never in a million years allow my son to eat such a pile of crap
Must make more effort!

FrannyandZooey · 12/02/2006 12:47

Aha kama, eating like me, except with meat, is in fact eating like Moondog. I think. However always happy to have another Millet Muncher on board

You can get Redbush from health food shops, Holland and Barrett, or even Sainsbury's now. The most popular brand is called Eleven O'Clock Tea and has a lovely old-fashioned packet with an illustration which looks like it came out of Milly Molly Mandy. It's the same as the bush tea that Mma Ramotswe drinks in those Ladies Detective Agency books.

littlerach · 12/02/2006 13:26

ProfessorG · 12/02/2006 15:28

Oh God am just disaster area. How do you guys eat so little without turning into cranky cow as I do?

2 croissants
large coffee
salmon/cucumber sandwich
half apple, grapes, chunk of cheese
5 fruit pastilles
water

and tonight i will roast a chicken (at least it is organic) and eat too many roast potatoes plus probably heinz sponge pud. Will have lots of veg too though...

snafu · 12/02/2006 15:33

Gawd. Some of you are so darn healthy.

1 bowl of Oatsosimple - Fruit Muesli flavour (yuck, yuck and thrice yuck, frankly)
Half a pomegranate
Large wodge of 'nice bread' (no nice ham though) with pate, some lumps o' cheddar and a couple of knobbly cornichons (cf. Nigel Slater)
Two quadruple (yeeks) chocolate cookies

That's the story so far...

snafu · 12/02/2006 15:34

Redbush tea has got lovely packaging though. Might buy some.

PeachyClair · 12/02/2006 15:52

boiled egg (large) with 2 rice crispbreads

tinned mackerel on bread, no butter

1 black coffee, 1 cup tea with semi skimmed

dinner: pot roast pork (swede, carrots, cabbage, green beans, peas, kidney beans) with mashed potato- nothing added for me.

Standard days eating for me, really.
