When I've been working I find it a real chore to go home and start cooking a meal from scratch. I'm looking for ideas that are quick, easy, tasty and nutritious (SP?)

Any takers?

Indian takeaway for us, kitchen floor being sealed so no cooking tonight, what a shame!

Dh is cooking me a "Delia" veggie recipe because I've been poorly this week and he felt sorry for me. I think it's bruschetta to start, then sicilian aubergine and roasted tomato spaghetti to follow - yum!

Nigella's One Pan Chicken, dead easy and yummy, however both kids vomiting today (nothing to do with last night's takeaway, neither of them would touch it) so I may have gone off the idea by dinner time.

I found a weird recipe-book at a car-boot-sale, so tonight we're trying out some home-made vegan cheeze.

One Pan Chicken's off, can't face cooking, I'm having a pasta readymeal and no-one else is eating, ho hum!

Chicken roast, with all the veg, followed by french apple tart and some first rate cheese. All washed down with an excellent 1997 Rose that my Ma- in- law brought to the meal. Boy do I love that woman!!!!

Homemade veg curry with lentils, carrots, mushrooms, onion, fresh garlic and ginger etc, brown rice, veg samosas and naan bread. Dh is on food combining diet and tonight we are enjoying a carbohydrate meal.
