Just wrote an excellent flounce and it disappeared!

Anyway, the gist was that I'm off. Mumsnet is no longer the lovely caring place it was, I can't believe the shit I am reading wrt the Syrian refugee crisis and I'm out.

I shall miss many many posters, thank you for the laughs, the tears, the support and putting up with me, it's been a blast and I am a better person for knowing you all.

I'm on one of the fb groups, so hope to see some of you around

Iwas yes, that was my wedding, and my extremely naughty niece. Smile

I did actually steal a cat. It stowed away in my car in Essex and appeared as I was going over the Dartford Bridge. She was a massive fluffy Maine Cooney type thing. She turned out to have been badly mistreated. Its a long story but I kept her, and she passed away a few months later in her sleep. My name was originally 'My name is Keith' as a nod to Spitting image, and I changed it shortly after 'stealing' Fluff, at another MN'ers suggestion.

I normally ignore flouncers but I've just read one of your posts on one of those threads and have decided that you can't leave.

I've mostly ignored them (the threads) as I don't want to be depressed by the scaremongering I expect is on them. But, I honestly think there was some kind UKIP invasion last night.

The "truth about Aylan's death" thread has just veered into really weird territory, we've had accusations of witchcraft on one thread and now crisis actors on that one. I'm not sure what MN is on the receiving end of but I'm beginning to wonder if it's human.

The muslim community where i live in Canada is politically very active , running for office at all levels , males and females. They are a significant voting block courted by all parties . They have achieved enuf behind the scenes influence that 1 political party was willing to allow shariah law for the muslim community if elected. Fortunately they weren't. Also there are doctors here who are willing to do FGM. Didn't read about the witchcraft , but all religions have an element of that. BTW i am not right wing.
