Agree with those who have mentioned "Who will look after my children". I saw it on a wet afternoon once when off work (uni???) I have never cried so much over a film.

lemonice · 26/05/2005 22:13

Ancient b/w A Town Like Alice saw when I was little when there used to be a sad film every Sunday afternoon on Tv

Saw Bambi on dvd recently and had always remembered it as really sad but THE SAD PART SEEMED TO HAVE BEEEN TONED DOWN has it?

Schindlers List

lots because I'm a weepy (and try to not let anyone see) and always get joshed by the kids and dp.

CountessDracula · 26/05/2005 23:04

dirty pretty things had me sobbing on the sofa

I usually cry at happy things rather than sad, but since having dd basically snivel at anything that involves children being hurt or dead and parents being left behind (or the other way round) So Bambi for eg now has me in hysterics

The Big Blue...
Why does he swim off with the dolphins and leave her? Why Why Why???

Leaving Las Vegas.

I find vietnam films really upsetting, particularly casualties of war.

Cinema Paradiso

Once Were Warriors - brilliant film!

Does anybody remember The Last Snows of Spring (early 80's I think)? Or that Love Story one about the ice-staker with a terminal illness (more 80's stuff I think)?
