Camping or Matron. My daughters watched them endlessly as teenagers and I could probably recite the dialogue myself!

We often quote the carry ons in our house;

Oops: San Ferry Ann.

It's actually french for something (spelt 'san ferian' or some such, I dint speak French)! But it makes sense when connected to the film.

love them all, though. Yes, they were sexist as hell but so of their time and the period detail just does it for me. Also the teeny tiny shorts/knickers Joan Simm wears in camping. Cracking pins, Mrs!

I also always want bacon and tomatoes when I watch Camping, and I don’t even eat or buy bacon!

They are great when you randomly find them on a dreary Saturday afternoon. And i used to love the Doctor films too, Leslie Phillips, James Robertson-Justice, Dirk Bogarde- names which will be lost to future generations.
We once went to Egypt on holiday and the waiter serving our pool area was the spit of Bernard Bresslaw. He'd bring ice buckets full of drinks out-immortalised as Bernard's Buckets.
