The new Star Wars - My god i was so looking forward to that - but GL just turned it into a giant arse Sandwich. Were to start???? Jar Jar. Nope I can't carry on - I want to cry now......

Alexander - A paddy Greek!! Ok I know he was not greek, but its late and I can't think to spell where he is from

Terminator 3 - Film too far.

Indy Jones iv - Good to the last 15 mins and then a total train wreck

Troy - Brad was so Wooden I got splinters

Transformers - Once you see the robots change once it was dull. Story was piss poor.

Got another one:
Happy Feet.
Dd watching it for the hundredth time. Nasty, unappealing penguinsm, weirdo plot that makes no sense, and a bit too Moulin Rouge for my liking .

Umlellala · 29/06/2008 12:04

That's a typo for penguins, not penguinism btw.

matildax · 29/06/2008 12:24

cloverfield absolutely completely crap!!!
oh and jeepers creepers, what on earth was that all about?, rubbish rubbish amd more rubbish.

moshie · 29/06/2008 12:47

Agree No Country For Old Men, watched it last night. When it finished dh and I just looked at esch other, as if to say 'is that it?'
Old copper thinking 'what's the world coming to' basically ( and lots of shooting)

evenhope · 29/06/2008 12:51

The worst film ever has to be Eyes Wide Shut. We sat there wanting to leave and thinking something must happen in a minute, and it never did.

Moulin Rouge

Open Water

The Royal Tennenbaums

I'm sure there are more..

moshie · 29/06/2008 13:12

the jesse james thing with brad pitt.shite.

Spidermama · 29/06/2008 13:18

Wings of Desire. Turgid.

Moulin Rouge. Bereft of anything.

Blair witch. Overhyped and not even slightly scarey.

American Beauty, on the other hand, is quite clearly one of the best films ever made and I'm astonished at the scale of the MN dissent on this matter.

Spidermama · 29/06/2008 13:18

Benn Hurr with Brad Pitt was utterly risible.

mamalovesmojitos · 29/06/2008 21:46

oooh i like leonardo. loved catch me if you can and the aviator.

i hated atonement. thought it would be fab. it made me realise that i'm not a big fan of keira.

lilyloo · 29/06/2008 21:47

Blair witch and wasted money at cinema wayching that too !

janeite · 29/06/2008 21:51

Brokeback Mountain - had a huge row with dp about it because he loved it and I thought it was boring, incoherent twaddle.

Love Actually - bits of it I liked but as a whole film it was rubbish.

Music And Lyrics - I expected to love this and was actually really bored by it.

The Da Vinci Code - I watched this with my Year 11s at the end of term because they'd all been reading it. My god - it was soooooo boring. I ended up curled up on the floor in a corner of the classroom, re-reading "Emma".

janeite · 29/06/2008 21:52

Love American Beauty though.

TurkeyLurkey · 29/06/2008 21:52

Agree with Happy Feet - 2 hours of my life I can never getback.

Also Blair Witch. What shite.

Also hated the last James Bond - Casino Royale? Just too stupid for words.

TurkeyLurkey · 29/06/2008 21:56

and wile we're on kids films..Chicken Little and Robots. The thought just makes me want to poke my own eyes out with a rusty spoon.

Serves me right for believing the hype.
