What films wouldn’t you change a moment of?

Ive just watched Billy Elliot and I think it’s absolutely perfect. The characters, the set, the very palpable despair displayed by the miners during strikes - anyone familiar with these areas know that these places have barely progressed as a direct result of Thatcher’s destruction. I feel that somehow came across in the movie.

The ending 🥺 it’s actual perfection

Cant argue with the princess bride being perfection

A room with a view. The acting in that is perfect.

Life Is Beautiful.

Probably would add the Shawshank Redemption too

2nd vote for Life is Beautiful - the most perfect, life-affirming, heart-breaking film ever

Just watched About Time based on the recommendations on this thread and I am a blubbering wreck. It was so lovely! It wasn’t what I thought it would be, I thought the romance would’ve been the centre of the film, but it was so much more than that.
Thank you everyone that recommended it

An old one but A Matter of Life and Death.

Pride is good both as a film and for quoting, my carer and I often quote bits, "Where are my lesbians?" and, "Listen, we don't mind the gays, and the lesbians, that's fine. But don't you dare be bringing people from North Wales down here!"

I'm not generally a huge fan of musicals but the above are great.
