Lots. But the most recent one was Allelujah with Jennifer Saunders,it was dire.

MuggedByReality · 13/04/2024 17:52

Star Wars Phantom Menace. The one with the crap CGI talking lizard thing. It wasn’t even a decent kids’ film. Just total crap with zero redeeming qualities. And it’s still the only movie I have ever walked out before the end of after paying good money to watch it.

SingingSands · 13/04/2024 17:53

Unbreakable. Saw it in the cinema in Glasgow and people were openly jeering, groaning and laughing. Was quite a good night out but not because of the film 😆

Amelie . So boring. Left midway.

I didn’t feel brave enough to say this, now heartened by your uncompromising
review, I’m agreeing!
I thought it was tiresome beyond belief, simpering little Amelie tormenting half witted Parisiens,
Thanks @OneFrenchEgg

FatArse123 · 13/04/2024 18:00

Hmm I might have to switch my Sliding Doors for Amelie. Fucking hated that film.

millivani · 13/04/2024 18:03

Bottoms

Icouldbehappy · 13/04/2024 18:05

Beaches

absolute twaddle

Iwant2beJessicaFletcher · 13/04/2024 18:10

Eyes wide shut. Only film I've ever left the cinema when it was still on.

Howard the duck

I sat though this with my equally uncomprehending little girl,
at a childs cinema ‘party’ in a state of shock.

Execrable, dodgy, awful

I watched Titanic 2 the other day. Obviously not about the actual titanic, but it was the biggest crock of shite ever!! The best part was someone getting squished between a heavy metal door.

That popped up on my Prime and my first thought was "how the fuck do they get funding for this shit".

My second thought was "abso-fucking-lutely no way am I watching it".

Yes this was what I was going to say! I fell asleep 🤣 just not for me!

I was also going to say this - hours of my life I’ll never get back 😂

StMarieforme · 13/04/2024 18:55

Against All Odds.

Meet Joe Black

Oh that's my favourite movie!

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 13/04/2024 19:00

I forgot how much I hated The Shape Of Water

MESSING2 · 13/04/2024 19:07

The Emoji Movie - DC made me sit through it 4 times.

Straight Story - one more helicopter shot of fields too many.

AI: Artificial Intelligence - the Steven Spielberg film with a Jude Law as a manwhore. Just. Wouldn't. Finish! Painful.

Oh I’d managed to blank out A.I. How many endings does one film need?? Which was bad enough, but they were all shit 😂

OneFrenchEgg · 13/04/2024 19:29

@SOxon solidarity! It was the most whimsical boring fluff I've ever seen

ColinRobinsonsFart · 13/04/2024 19:44

All of the Lord of the rings films - my bf at the time was LOTR mad. I went to all the films with him - I cannot remember what they were called , I kept falling asleep when it was a battle in a wood and I woke up when it was a battle in a wood. I am sure it was the same battle in all the films. I don't even know how many films there were. I know there was lots of walking.

I have read the hobbit though and I liked the book!

Schindlers list

One of my all time most moving films!

Loved all of them. Loved the book and have read it multiple times. Bought the dvds after seeing the films at the cinema!

LieutenantJumboJr · 13/04/2024 20:45

Asteroid City

PurpleKate · 13/04/2024 20:53

Moulin Rouge. Unfortunately my DH loves it so I am regularly subjected to the film and the soundtrack.

13Bastards · 13/04/2024 20:54

Gladiator. So bloody dull

Mothership4two · 14/04/2024 06:59

Second the LOTRs series - couldn't get into the books either. Variations of the same situations going on and on.

Taken - OH and I were surprised how bad it was as it was the 'big thing' at the time.

One of my all time most moving films!

We were teenagers and went to the movies for fun and it wasn’t I suppose..?!… I’ve recently started re-watching some old films and it’s so different with adult eyes- must do that with this one!
