I'm English, so by that I mean films not in English Grin

Just watched a brilliant film. The Invisible Guest on Netflix. Psychological-thriller, very, very clever plot. Spanish film and there's no English audio so you have to watch it with subtitles (unless you're fluent in Spanish or some other european languages that are available).

Haven't really watched any subtitled films over the last decade so there must be some recent blinders that I've missed.

Any recommendations please?

Untouchable, the one with Omar Sy. Based on a true story. My favourite film. French. Amusing, laugh out loud funny at times, very touching and beautifully acted.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 29/10/2021 14:23

gingergiraffe · 29/10/2021 14:23

Just watched the Danish film 'Druk' (another round). Bloody fabulous film funny but with moments of incredible poignancy. Give it a go, if you get the chance

Many, many of those already listed.

Stuck on my own on NYE with a chest infection I watched 'E Stato Il Mano Di Dio' (The Hand of God) on Netflix which was moving and beautiful and very funny in parts.

Jolene1990 · 05/01/2022 13:57

Parasite is a very good Korean film that my husband and I enjoyed when we watched it, I definitely recommend it!
