Classic films to watch with 12 year old ds???

We're doing a film night for bank holiday monday, DS is mature for his age and a lot of the films these days are, to us, utter rubbish! What are some heartwarming films that I can watch with him?

Saving Grace the one with with Brenda Blethyn my 12 year old found it hilarious.

Depends a bit what your DS likes, we also liked Bringing up Baby with Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant - you probably won't find that at short notice though

Indiana Jones, Back to the future, Willow, Labyrinth, Ghost busters my dd loves these and is also a big fan of the Mazerunner movies which is more modern.

We watched My Girl last weekend. My 11 year old ds was in bits!

I was just going to go back and write plot synopsis for all my suggested films but then I remembered about Google oh and surely you have some knowledge of most of these films unless you have been living under a rock.

Dobby, Bunny, Alright, no need to argue I admit that i've been living under a rock, haha. Like I said, I just want a quick synopsis to save me from googling it Not much time to search as it's our film night in just about two hours (I know, i'm a bad mum!)

I too have always lived under a rock op, and have only seen a couple of these.

I don’t know if Common Sense Media website does classic films. It’s my go to for when my kids want to watch something.
