Mine are:

Out of Africa
The Piano
The English Patient

Can't decide whether Out of Africa or The Piano were more hideously dull. And the English Patient was just bloody irritating - it was such a relief when he died.

Oh, maybe, GB...it was just before (or after!) Kramer vs Kramer (c 1980?) and I loved them both and I was old!

I'm listening to Joni now Sal

Can't bear her though-nearly as worthy and annoying as Joan Baez.)

Can I include Titanic? (Not really deep and moving, I suppose!)

Load of crap IMO. Absolutely loathed it and couldn't wait for the sodding ship to sink!!!

DH raved about it, bought it on video and then made me watch it. I was bored, bored, bored, bored, bored!!!!!!

I think it won an Oscar for being the most boring Western ever!!!!!

I had the soundtrack to the last waltz for ages. My favourite tape - everyone laughed at me at Uni, but I loved it.

Sleepy Hollow - what a load of shite in horseback that was!!!

And Bridget Jones II - went on due date and everytime I sighed at the crapness of the film DP nearly dragged me out and had me laid out on the floor saying BREATHE!!!

Watched the English Patient 3 times and I still don;t understand it!!!
