Britney Spears and Conservatorships

This is horrifying. She’s asking for a judge to reconsider the conservatorship and the details of how little autonomy she has is awful.

“I have an IUD in my body right now that won’t let me have a baby and my conservators won’t let me go to the doctor to take it out.”

How is this allowed?

It sounds like it couldn't be removed from her statement alone but it's not ruled out if she takes more action.

Bumping this because it's been reported that a judge has terminated Britney's 13 year long conservatorship.

Very pleased to hear this. I really hope she is able to live a long and happy life going forward. No doubt it still won't be easy but the level of control exerted over her was just wrong.
