Just had a huge row - am sat here in tears. I need to leave but don't want to. I want to go and hide from the world. Have suffered with depression for 18 months now. He says everything is my fault and it is. My kids hate me. I wouldn't mind but I tried to make a massive effort tonight

You have as much right to come on here as anyone SD. I hate all this double standard rubbish.

If you know MN you will know some responses to marital discord are always 'leave him'. They are so predicable, but they hog every thread, wishing the end of relationships - I think it says more about them than the people they are trying to 'advise'. Good thing is you can take it oe leave it - they can't enforece their opinions on others, though they get very angry becasue of that (as with Hedgewitch's thread sadly).

But anyways, JR is obvioulsy not coping. It can't be easy for you all. There is help out there though she needs to take responsiblity for getting that help herself. Good luck the two of you.
