supposed to go into town today to get costumes for the kids to dress up in for school on thursday with it being world book day. that means i got to keep dd off nursery and take her and ds2 with me. its pouring with rain and the thought of going out is making me break into a sweat and feel sick and dizzy. I ran out of ads on saturday. got to pick up my prescription later when i go for my couselling. I am dreading that. i feel so tired and weak.......dh has been pestering to go out for my birthday this week but tbh I am really not up to going out.

Titania this sounds like a vg idea to me. You really aren't coping if you are going out having panic attacks and feeling so weak and tired

Listen to the old fish

MummytoSteven · 01/03/2005 13:58

titania - they won't lock you up! aside from anything else there are very few (not enough in fact) mental health inpatient beds these today - all the psych hospitals seem to be knocked down and turned into Supermarkets!

agree with everyone else that you need more expert help than GP and even a counsellor. on a previous thread you mentioned a diagnosis of OCD. did the counsellor say what treatment (if any) she had in mind for that. the ADs you are on can be used to treat OCD anyway, but some sort of behaviour therapy (which I imagine a CPN would be able to do) would also help for that.

Oh, honey, no-one here wants to forget you. Please keep talking to us.

MummytoSteven · 01/03/2005 20:10

don't shut us out love.

i think that once you get your prescription sorted you will feel a bit better again - cold turkey ad withdrawal can be really evil

Hi Titania,

I've only caught your last couple of posts and I know you are feling sh*t. I don't have any advice or anything sensible to say. I just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you and wish you well. You are cared about by a lot of people here, and we think you are great, no matter how you feel yourself.

That's all really, and a (((((((hug)))))))
