I walked from work to tesco and the streets are inches deep in puddles- our council workers cant lay a straight road to save their sorry arses. I got a taxi home from tesco mind- I'm not dull!. Hope you didn't get rained on when you had your walk.

Oh, yes. My work trousers are that lovely absorbant cotton twill and they're the proper length i.e cover my ankle and nearly at floor level.

After about 5 steps you could feel them flapping coldly against warm skin.

Plus I had to borrow a brolly from work as I hadn't worn a coat and left my brolly in my dh car.

bet you got home and couldnt wait to change!
